I recently purchased this shadow in Creme Brulee and Espresso. I apply it with a small fluffy brush for a nice sheer wash of color. I've worn both a few times and it lasts all day with no creasing for me. I've used a couple of other cream shadows and have had creasing but this doesn't, which is wonderful. I prefer sheer, more natural makeup so these are just perfect for me.

I was very hesitant about using creme eye shadow as I thought it would feel all gross and thick on my eyelids. This stuff is a dream! Goes on super light, can't feel it all....and better yet, it stays on all day! It's fabulous!! I will probably never go back to normal eye shadow again!

After using this product in the shade Black Currant I was left kind of confused. After watching others demo this eyeshadow in other shades, namely Praline, I was shocked by the intensity and beauty and rushed out to get a rather unflattering bright, glittery purple. A fault on my behalf. Still! You get very little product, although the packaging is quite nice. The glass feels luxurious and it even comes with a little brush snapped into the lid which is pretty decent, if I do say so myself. But this color, Black Currant, I'm just not so sure. Swatching it was more glossy and greasy than pigment. Takes a lot of layers to layer up on my lids and really isn't my color, but if you worked with it well and other shades then you could definitely make it look stunning. After experimenting a little bit I found blending it out with a different brush and going on back to layer was the way to go. I mean, okay. But I'm not buying the color again.

This is a no. I have hooded eyelids. I used an eyeshadow primer to give it special insurance against creasing. I got home and this was a creasy ugly mess in my eye area.
My favorite cream eyeshadow from makeup forever was discontinued. It never ever creased on me. It was amazing. I'm looking for a replacement and this isn't it. I'm the garbage it will go.
It's too bad because it actually came in really high packaging. I had high hopes. Oh well.

I purchased this in the shade Black Currant which is a gorgeous, dusty lilac shade. By itself, it is a little too light for me, but when paired (or layered) with another shadow it's FABULOUS. I've been using it as a super sparkly primer under a griege powder shadow and it is absolutely stunning. It just really compliments whatever is layered over it and really makes it pop. Love love love it!

I bought one of these and ran out and bought 2 more. I love the formula and the colors. The packaging with brush in the lid is perfect. These are fast and easy to apply. Oh and did I mention it stays on all day. I did set mine with matte sheer face powder. I have also set it with eye shadow and used it a bit more like a primer. I bought mine at Walmart and highly recommend these. They travel very nice also!!

WOW! Great colors and fantastic packaging! The little pot is really pretty and the not-so-pretty but extremely excellent to use brush is hidden in a little slot beneath the pot! The brush is compact, is easy to remove and replace and works PERFECTLY with the type of consistency this eyeshadow has, which has a nice, silky feel, glides right on and lasts well.Revlon was even thoughtful enough to put a little "tread" on the brush handle so that you only have to gently press with your finger and the brush glides right out. When you pop it back in, it stays securely! This packaging is impressive, a lot of thought went into it! To me, this is good customer service and a pride in the product and I think customers really appreciate these things! I know I do!

These are not bad. I bought Chocolate, Espresso and Cherry Blossom, with a free sample of Black Currant (and a sample of the HD lipstick in Twilight on the same card) at Walgreens during their buy 2, get one free promotion. I find they make great bases for powder eyeshadows and as liners. Only the Chocolate shade is matte. It is a light brown. Espresso has a tiny bit of sheen to it and it is a dark taupe on me. Cherry Blossom is very, very sheer on me. It is a nice light pink with some shimmer and I use it only as a base. These don't crease on me at all, and the brush is usable. You have to clean the brush everytime you use it or it will dry in a hard mess.I tried the Black Currant. It is a very light shimmery (tiny microglitters) violet. Beautiful color but way too glittery for me. I added a matte purple shadow on top, an old discontinued UD shadow in Cult over it to tone it down and I got compliments from people. I will probably buy this one because it compliments any purple shadow I put over it.

I purchased this in blackcurrant, a lovely shimmery silvery plum shade. I personally adore shades of lilac, violet and purple, as they make my green eyes pop. As others have said, this applies quite sheer at first, which I actually liked a lot. It can be built up more if you require. The application is nice, with a decent (if really teeny) built in applicator. The reason it gets three stars is that on me it creased after less than five hours. For a purportedly long wearing eye shadow I was expecting a bit longer wear. My eyelids aren't oily and most eye shadow lasts quite a bit longer either with primer or a light layer of concealer underneath. Oh well. For the gorgeous shade and shimmer I really enjoy it. Happy beautifying!

I got this in Vanilla. It's a nice shimmery white. The pigmentation is ok; could be better. I had to layer it to make it a bold white, however that could be a good thing: you can adjust it to use as a highlight for the corners of your eyes or brow bone as well as a bold eyeshadow. But, that probably won't apply to all the colors. For that matter, maybe the other colors are more pigmented; I've only tried this one. The formula is a cream but dries quickly after application, and stays put. When I swatched it on my hand before trying it on my eyelids, I washed and dried my hands several times before it even budged. The packaging is nice. The base that holds the shadow is glass, the lid is a sturdy plastic. It comes with a small brush that slips into storage inside the top of the lid. The brush is convenient, but it makes the product pill up on my lids. It doesn't happen when I use my fingers, so I can only conclude that it's the brush making it pill. I will admit I am new to using cream eye shadows. The only other cream eyeshadows I have used were also by Revlon (the palette), but I only used them as an eye shadow base, and they didn't dry down like this one does. So as far evaluating the performance of cream eyeshadows all by themselves, I have nothing to compare this one to. But, I do like this enough to try other colors. And I feel like I got my money's worth at about $6 at Walmart.
