Desert Essence used to be a hair care brand that I liked, up until 5 or 6 years ago when they started changing their formulas. However, since I love anything lemon scented, I thought I'd try this new scent. This conditioner does a decent job of conditioning my fine, wavy hair. Not quite as shiny or detangled as something from Pantene or Herbal Essences makes it, but it's okay. Also, because of the natural oils and butters it contains, my hair tends to go flat and look greasy faster than with drugstore products that don't contain these types of ingredients. The lemon is a true lemon scent, which I like, but unfortunately it doesn't linger at all. Regular price for this is $8.99, but you can usually find it online for a little cheaper. The matching shampoo is horrible (thick, hard to spread, weak scent, dry, matted hair, with residue), but the conditioner is worth checking out if you like lemon. I use this when I use Paul Mitchell shampoo 2, which is also lemon scented.
