So I was in the Makeup aisle of TK Maxx when the pretty packaging of this palette literally called out to me. The packaging has pretty cupcakes, lipsticks etc and is in resemblance of an English tea party. So cute but that's about it all when it comes to these eyeshadows.

This was about £16.99 but retails for almost double that in department stores so I thought what a bargain, half the price and marched to the till. TK Maxx doesn't have testers so never did any swatches before purchasing but I did open the casing to see what the colours looked like. They were pretty and looked vibrant so I figured they'd apply the same. What a mistake!

The palette has creamy eyeshadows and comes with a double ended application brush which is actually really good for applying powder colours but does absolutely nothing when using with the colours in this palette. These eyeshadows do not pop and require A LOT of building up which is very long and frustrating and even when built up, do not show colour and are near impossible to blend without removing all of what you would have spent time building! The colours also do not last and on me, stayed about 45 minutes before creasing so bad, I had to use my fingers to blend off........I was wearing eye primer even!

These are just really bad. Like really bad.

Product is also very overpriced and for £30, one can find something much better than this. Even though I bought this at only half price, my heart is still breaking for my money.

Overall, I will not be repurchasing and I can't wait to find someone I can just give this to as I have no intentions of ever using this palette again. Pretty colours and packaging but what a huge disappointment!
