I was searching for a replacement for my much-loved YSL Ashy Black cream line when I saw a photo of Noir Sequin. It looked quite similar, so I decided to give it a try, and I'm glad I did. It's quite similar to the YSL. The Givenchy looks like it has--well, not chunks, but slightly larger pieces of shimmer--in it, and I think it does; however, I don't feel it when applying, and it doesn't show up that way on the eye (I used it as a liner)--it looks like a lovely off-black liner. The product has a perfect consistency for using as eyeliner, applied easily and smoothly (I use a bent liner brush), and was opaque in one coat. It wore well on a hot, windy day--no smudging or transfer--and it removed easily with micellar water. It's a little pricey at $26 for a standard-sized cream shadow pot, but because I'm only using it as liner, it'll last quite a while. I can finally consign my poor old dried-out YSL liner to the trash bin. This is a winner, and I would repurchase!
