I got in those MOCHAmazing wich is a shimmery,mocha-mauve lipstick. I got exceptioNUDE wich is a shimmery, mauve-pink lipstick. The formula is light weight, it holds on longer then other lipsticks. You can pair those lipsticks with a lip gloss to complete the color or to make it thicker. Love it!

I really like this lipstick, in fact it's replaced Essence's Long Lasting Lipstick as my favorite. I own it in the colors ExceptioNude and BerryLicious. The nude tone is actually more of a muted pink, sort of a "your lips but better" type. Very natural and beautiful, ties the look together great. The second is a deep berry tone that really makes white teeth pop! The formulas are very moisturizing with decent lasting power. I'd categorize this as demi-matte for the faint sheen they have, but some colors are full on shimmer too.

The packaging is cute looking at first but the lettering wears off quickly. I wish they'd just do away with lettering and go with something stylish, like a matte black tube with a colored lid to match the shade.

It's really surprising to me that one of the best lipstick formula's I've tried in a while is $2.99 and from New York Color. New York Color has slid under the radar for me for a long time... while other drugstore brands have flourished it seems like they have kind of fallen behind. But if they keep putting out products like this, they might just win me back.

This product is new for 2016 and includes around 9 shades. The shades seem more on basic side but the formula makes me want to go get more just because I need more lipsticks that feel/last like this.

I only picked up one initially... ExeptioNude, which is a wonderful cool mauvey nude. It is highly pigmented and the texture is really interesting. It goes on easily, creamy with no tugging and you expect it to be your typical drugstore lipstick but then after a few minutes it starts to set and the creaminess fades a little bit. It doesn't become dry though but it does become more of a natural matte type finish. It wears very comfortable on lips and it wears for a long time! I don't need to reapply for hours and it even lasts through light eating and drinking.

Totally exceeded my expectations... cannot wait to try a few more shades.
