Verb Ghost oil is with me at all times. I have thin long hair but a lot of it. This oil is super light, doesn’t look greasy or weigh my hair down. It is perfect after styling to give shine and get rid of any frizz. It refreshens my hair anytime I need it during the day. It works well over other products and doesn’t take away from the benefits from those products but adds. I keep a larger bottle at home and a smaller in my purse always. It’s also great for 2nd day fresh ups after using dry shampoo. Great multi purpose product and great for fine, limo hair!

I love my hair oils and this one is simple and does the job. It was lightweight and my hair absorbed it well. In a vast market of hair oils to choose from this one stands out for its simplicity and reasonable price.

No, just absolutely doesn't work for me. I have fine, bleached hair, chin-length that I use oils on after I shampoo. Verb oil leaves my hair a greasy mess no matter whether I use one drop or more. If I use that one drop on the ends, it's obvious that there is an oil product saturating my hair. It's an extremely thick liquid that needs to be rubbed between my palms first to lighten its application yet that still won't help. I'd use it as a pre-conditioner before shampooing but really, with the mix of other ingredients in it that don't benefit my hair, there's no purpose to that use. The smell reminds me of lemon furniture polish.

My hair is thick, mostly wavy, is color treated and loves moisture. When I first tried Ghost oil as a sample, gotta admit I hated it. Immediately tossed it in the trash. Recently I sampled the Verb Sea Shampoo and Conditioner and loved it enough to buy the set with the Ghost oil (was practically free in the set). So now, I actually do like the scent of it (it doesnt last long though) and it's an ok product...not as bad as I had once thought. It does feel weightless once raked in. My hair needs way more than what this can provide though. More than 3 pumps and it makes my hair feel greasy. But for those with thinner hair I can see 2 pumps of this product working for you a lot better. ymmv of course.

I received a sample and love this oil for detangles hair, shine, and keeps ends from looking too dry. I will repurchase when this sample runs out, a little goes a long way! I do apply some on damp hair but specially when dry. Sephora list price at $16.00.

Let's start with the most important fact. The first ingredient is a typical one for styling gels. The second ingredient is dimethicone, (a "cone".). This does not make this a bad product, it merely makes it very similar to a boatload of other products at various price levels, including such stalwarts as Frizz-Ease. Other oils follow on the ingredient list, some exotic, some more common place, but it is hard to know how significant their presences are in proportion to the first two ingredients. This is a colorless, somewhat thick frizz serum that has a very soft citrus scent. Nothing more, nothing less. If these products typically work for you, then so will this. Typically my naturally curly, color treated, coarse, thick hair absorbs this sort of product and I usually need to double the dose, at least. If you have fine hair, you will use less. The gel ingredient can make for a bit of stiffness, but just a bit. If you have fine hair, this may give the illusion of thickness.

Got a deluxe sample when I purchased the Verb Shampoo and Conditioner around Christmas, and I just finished the sample size. A little goes a long way. I apply just a drop to my hands, rub to warm up the oil and apply to my hair midshaft to ends on the nights I don't wash my hair. I have fine hair that is highlighted and currently near waist length. Doesn't leave my hair greasy, looks well moisturizered in the morning. Smell is great. I plan on repuchasing when I'm done with my other hair oil.

I have fine red hair that is beginning to get sprinkled with white glitter strands. I put on two to three drops when wet, and it tames the glitter strands and brightens my red with shine and gloss. It also gives it more body, so I can partially blow-dry and run! I love this oil. I don't know about heat protection, but the bottle says it does...but I have no answer on that . However, just for the way it keeps my glitter strands in check and brightens my color, I'm in love!

Meh. I'm not exactly sure what this product is supposed to do. It either feels like nothing on my hair, or it gets oily if I put a little more on. It smells great, but doesn't disappears as soon as you put it on your hair, which is a shame. It doesn't have heat protectant abilities, or anti-frizz abilities. Just not worth it, imo. I love the Agave healing oil so much better!

I received a sample of this, and have just run out. I plan to repurchase. I use it on color and keratin treated hair, and when I'm trying to stretch the keratin treatment, this helps calm the frizz. I put it on damp hair before I blow-dry and style, and it kicks the frizz without weighing my hair down. I use a pea-sized amount on my shoulder-length, fine and thin hair. I like it because I don't want frizz but I also can't have weight because of the nature of my hair! This does the magic trick of the in-between.
