It's a nice product to use, especially under makeup. Normally I avoid eye creams because IMO they're just overpriced moisturizers, and so far none of those I used improved the texture of my skin any better than my regular moisturizer. But I was looking for something that I could use before applying concealer- I thought that something emollient and moisturizing would work well.
I appreciate that this cream comes in a hygienic packaging (hate jars, they just seem so unsanitary and don't keep the ingredients fresh). The texture is very thick, emollient. It has tiny glitter particles, and it kind of made me hesitant to buy this product when I swatched it in store. But decided to try it out anyway. Luckily the glitter is invisible once I apply the product.
It works great under makeup. It brightens the eye area a little bit, makes it look moisturized and when I set concealer with powder it never looks cakey. It has some good ingredients- my skin loves vitamin C and algae extract, so the Lightful range is right up my alley (I've tried the cleanser too, and loved it).
Overall, it's not an exceptional product, but I would consider repurchasing it.

This is the only product from their Lightful C line without fragrance so thats why ill give them 5 stars for this one.

TELL MAC TO STOP FRAGRANCE IN THEIR SKIN CARE LINE "LIGHTFUL C"

MAC's skincare line is so good its full of antioxidants and skin repairing and brightning ingedrients the only problem is the fragrance (irritating for skin) it would have got 5 stars on paula choice beautypedia (expert rating) if it had no fragrance. So I messaged MAC and they said to me that the more people complain about it the more chance they gonna change it. SO GET UR ASS UP and tell dem to change it, send every mac site about it and complain, even to ur local mac store u can comlplain. the more the better! who' with me. COMMENT "FRAGRANCE SHOULDNT BE IN SKINCARE" under this message If u gonna complain and help me. so i know. thank u verry much xxx

I live in a very dry climate and sometimes get dry skin on my eyelids. Yuck. I was looking for a very emollient eye cream to apply to my super-sensitive eye area at night. This one is ok and doesn't irritate my eyes, and it really helped with the flaky skin on my lids the first night. I think it was the Vitamin C that got rid of the flakes. It isn't nearly as emollient as I want it to be, but since my eyes seem to tolerate it, I'll deal with it. The packaging isn't super fancy, it's a standard plastic bottle with a pump. The price isn't any better or worse than other eye creams. I might look for something more moisturizing next time I need to purchase, but if that irritates my eyes, I'll be right back to using this one.

I was intrigued when this eye cream came out because it sounded so good. It contains a lot of Vitamin C and other good stoff and it's supposed to brighten the eye area, so I bought it. Well, to be honest, it's just an average eye cream. I don't believe that eye creams can work miracles, but when I can pay 10 euro for an eye cream that gives me the same results as this one, I feel cheated. It moisturises my eye area in an okay manner (it could do better), doesn't give me milia (I think) and it brightens a little because of the large amount of shimmer, but it's nothing noticeable and, of course, not a lasting effect. I can get the same effect with a good concealer. It's simply not worth the money.
