I really wanted to get a contouring stick (not powder because I have a cream and powder bronzer that technically could be used to contour...even if i'm not supposed to). I picked Lancome because their ivorie foundation works great with my skin tone so I wanted to stick to a tried and true brand. I didn't get the Ivorie stick since I wanted something to get that kardashian contouring thing going on (guilty...but a girl wants to dress up sometimes). So I got buff, one shade up - and it worked PERFECTLY and seamlessly with my skin tone. I've heard people say the highlighter is invisible on their skin, and yes.....this is but the highlighter is supposed to highlight with a slight healthy sheen - so you're not supposed to SEE it straight out. I love this stick! I've been careful to not let the ends break off but i love how portable it is and I've also been careful to use both sides equally.

I LOVE this contouring stick. Absolutely adore it. I had never even heard of it before the SA showed it to me at Sephora. I asked for contour makeup that was good for fair skin and wasn't a big palette with 10 colors I don't need. When she showed me this stick with a taupe contour I was immediately sold. This stick is perfect for everyday use. It's very subtle and invisible as a contour. You look sculpted not done up. It's super easy to blend as well. The highlight is the only one I've been able to use on my forehead and look dewy not highlighted. The packaging is sleek and feels nice in your hand. I know this isn't the sexiest product you'd see but you should definitely give this one a chance.

Absolutely love it! This accentuates my bone structure with a natural look in the perfect shades! I tried 4 shades on my NC 25-30 olive skin - Buff, Bisque, Dore, & Suede. The Buff highlighter is a very light golden tan, Bisque highlighter has a pinkish tint (clashes with my olive skin), Dore is a light golden tan (light golden tan that matches my skin too closely), & Suede has a slight peachy tint. Great lipstick-type tube packaging makes application a breeze. Be careful not to twist it up too far or it can break, as it's soft - apply gently! Blends so easily! 7 hours later the highlighter hasn't settled into any fine lines, and my face still looks fresh. Shock!I use it over Bare Minerals bareSkin Brightening Serum Foundation in Pure Buff (10), and I feel like my face looks 10 years younger! The glow that the Buff highlighter gives my skin is just lovely! I like a natural look - not too made up, and I left contours/highlighters behind 20 years ago because they can look too heavy for my taste. But Le Duo can be used lightly or built up, and just blends like a dream. I thought the contour would get slick looking or just slip off my oily skin after a few hours, but no! I'm so glad I found this - it gives my face that extra oomph - dimension and glow - it's been missing!Great on eyelids too! I'd normally never spend $36 on a contour/highlighter, but I cannot praise this product highly enough! It is just beautiful and so easy to use!Watch Lisa Eldridge's video for application tips!
