What's wrong with Paula's Choice?

She lambasted supplements when she wasn't selling them and now to expand her business, she makes up all sort of excuses to justify selling them on their website.

She continues to do things that damage her already compromised reputation.

She even hide comments on her YouTube channel for feedback on her products …

The company is now similar to a drugstore brand. It has lost its slightly elevated status.

I recently read on their website on their marketing page that they would always tell the truth even though it would made them unpopular. That couldn't be farther from the truth.

They're unpopular these days because:
*They manipulate reviews - unfavourable reviews …

Excellent review, Jinbox, and I agree with everything on your list. Paula and Beautypedia drive me crazy in endless ways; I could go on and on.

I read an interview with Paula in which she is asked what her routine is. Despite all of the PC products out there and how they all perform different miraculous things, she only uses cleanser, toner, niacinamide booster, her light serum …

Paula's Choice reminds me of Deciem's The Ordinary.

During the early days of Paula's Choice, they were like The Ordinary. They have products backed by science and was sold at an affordable price.

The current Paula's Choice is no longer recognizable. Not only are their products ridiculously expensive, they're doing the exact same things that they …

This is an answer to Swimblock in her review of Paula's Choice skincare http://www.makeupalley.com/product/showreview.asp/ItemId=178296/All-Skincare/Paula-s-Choice/Skincare---Face

It seems she just wants to give a bad review without being ashamed of telling lies : [...] stay away from Paula's Choice products as every one of them has it (dimethicone or silicones) in the …

I too use many Paula's Choice products; on the couple that didn't work for me, I received an immediate refund without having to jump through hoops. Another thing I love about PC is the availability of samples for most items. I could downgrade MANY products others love/like due to my personal sensitivities, which include fragrance of ANY kind, essential oils, and flavorings. But that …Read more

Anyone that has issues with dimethicone or silicones should stay away from Paula's Choice products as every one of them has it in the ingredients list. My skin cannot tolerate these ingredients at all and I am very disappointed that someone with Paula's stature wouldn't at least carry some dimethicone/silicone free products for those of us that can't tolerate them. These …Read more
