I have been using this for the last couple of months and I have just bought my second bottle. I love this foundation because it gives me the coverage I need to get through the day. I also don't get very oily (let's face it nothing keeps me completely matte for the whole day) at the end of the day which is a miracle considering I live in a tropical country. I love also that this looks so natural because the shade is just right. I'm golden beige and it's perfect.

Also while I feel that it doesn't completely hide my pores (I'm currently exploring changes in my skin care to rectify that), I feel like it does a good job smoothing everything over. The only thing is that it is a little pricey in the department store but considering that it is shipped here from the states, I'm not mad. I also forgot but it dries down quickly so you have to be fast in blending it but when it settles, it has a nice powdery like finish that doesn't really need powdering unless you are oily like me.

Anyway, I would definitely recommend this!

Overhyped and oxidizes like crazy.

I am around MAC NC30 with moderately oily skin. I bought this in 106. Seemed like the perfect match at first until people started commenting how dark my face is throughout the day. That's when I realized it oxidized on me. So I bought 104 next and it still oxidized on me. I've never had other foundations oxidize on me so this was rather odd.

The formula is quite interesting since it feels like it was powdered once it sets on the skin. However, I found it hard to blend since it dries really quick. It also cakes if you put on too much or when you sweat.

Pigmentation is ok. I still needed to use concealer on my darker spots after.

If you are super oily and prefer really matte looks then you might like this. Just keep in mind that it's not the best foundation ever like youtube gurus promote. I personally prefer the true match foundation shade-wise and formula-wise.

I have combination skin & more easily to get oily but i used this and the PRO MATTE formula is work for me for hours! & importantly, this is not cakey AT ALL. although they said it would stay all day, i think the matte formula only stay for 12 hours maxxx for me. But it's enough for me because the price was worth too.

I offer you my sincere apologies since English is not my native language.

Hate this foundation.

My skin its quite normal. I have combination skin, fortunately I don't have any acne or discoloration, Just a few dry patches and large pores around my nose.

Two times I have bought this product, in both ir was a disappointment.

Color range is the only good thing.
This Foundation clings into dry patches and settles into pores and expression lines. After 2 hours it looks cakey, melts and transfer to Everything You Touch.

I do set foundation with loose powder, but I don't use primer or setting spray, since i Don't Believe in using multiple products from the same brand in order to get the desired result , promised in first place by the foundation alone.

Whatever It Says in the packaging about The Amazing and extraordinary matte finish (only at the begining) and 24 hrs long wear ... It's a lie.

Every skin is unique and different. We are all different, our needs are distinct, this didn't work for me at all.

I think I might have found my HG drugstore foundation. And let me just say that isn't an easy task, being that j have very yellow undertone Asian skin (NC30-35) and pretty much all drugstore foundations are either too pink or too orange for me. I bought shade 105 Natural Beige.

So glad I tried this - let me list the pros and cons:

Pros:
- Amazing medium to full coverage. It covered my hyper pigmentation with ease but doesn't make my face look cakey. With this foundation I can easily skip concealer.

- Price: reasonable comparing with Sephora brands but it is still up there comparing with other drugstore brands. I would only buy this on sale.

- Shade selection is amazing. For a yellow toned gal I truly appreciate the yellow toned choices I have.

- Packaging is light and I appreciate the squeeze tube for hygiene reasons.

- Texture is light and does not clog my pores

Cons: If you have dry skin you might find it emphasizing your fine lines but not for a combo/oily gal like me!

I will still continue to search for other foundations but I'm happy I found this gem. Definitely will repurchase.

I honestly don't get the hype for this product. It gets so cakey immediately. If you have dry patches, or any dryness at all, avoid this product. I have some dry acne patches but my skin is generally oily. It clings to the dryness and it just does not look good. It looks so bad around the nose and it's so difficult to blend without it looking cakey af. Also, if you have bumps or breakouts, avoid this product as well because at the end of the day the foundation will separate on those bumps.

I wanted to love this foundation so much since many people were raving about how it keeps oil control at bay.

I apply this foundation in the morning about 6am before I go to work. Upon initial application it matches my skin perfectly. I had dark marks on my cheeks, but it still peeks through this foundation. I can't layer this anymore than 2 because it will look blotchy after an hour or so. It's very matte upon initial application, but I want to prolong to my foundation so I set this with either ben nye neutral set or rcma no color powder. My travelling time on the way to work is usually 45minutes to an hour. This involves a 25 min walk to the nearest bus station. (I live in a tropical country to so take note that I sweat a lot.) Upon arrival at work I noticed I had a certain 'glow' (not oily). By 11am my whole face gets really oily and it has oxidized so bad I turn oompa oompa orange. By 3-4pm I noticed that the foundation is gone (which is surprising since I work in a very cold place and rarely leave my work station). After 5 tries with this foundation , I gave up and sold mine.

Pros:
-Available locally
-Caters to a wide range of asian skintone (if you order from the US)
-Medium coverage
-light weight (but only up to 2 layers)

Cons:
-Limited shades available locally
-Very expensive for a drugstore brand (I got mine before it was available locally, but because of the hype sellers sold this for about about $18 up)
-oxidizes so bad
-confusing shade range
-buildable up to two layers only
-doesn't really last long

Would I buy again?probably just to try and mix this with another foundation

This foundation sting when I applied on my face. Felt like applying a toner that contain alcohol. My skin feel tight with this foundation on, like wearing a mask. Probably because I applied two layers to build up the coverage since one layer is not suffice to cover my imperfections.

Best applied with beauty blender, it reduced the powdery finish that usually achieved by using brush. However, upon blending, the foundation sometimes stick on the blender sponge and pulled off the 1st layer that I applied. I think if you want higher coverage, you should just start with more foundation, rather than building up 2nd layer which cause cakiness. It dries to a matte and powdery finish. It set really fast and once set, it won't budge. But if you tend to rub your face, the fading will look worse since you can't blend it again.

I think this foundation is not for people with skin textures, sensitive skin, dehydrated, and fine lines. I have oily skin but dehydrated and I love estee lauder double wear foundation. Unfortunately ELDW emphasized my pores, but it did not exaggerate my smile lines and the lines on my forehead. Weird thing is, pro matte reduced appearance of pores, its like a cement that cover the tiny holes (pores) but it emphasize all the tiny bumps and fine lines. From far, it look flawless, but up close, I felt like I was aging when wearing this foundation.

This foundation is hard to work with if you want to apply concealer as a highlight on top of this foundation. It looks cakey, as if u applied concealer after setting your foundation with powder. I have other foundation that dries to powdery finish, such as Bourjois Air Mat, but that foundation didn't cause cakiness upon layering like pro matte.

Lots of youtuber say that pro matte is medium coverage and buildable to almost full coverage. No! It isn't! If you only have problem like uneven skin tone, then most medium coverage foundation will appear near full coverage on you, but for people with pimples, acne scars and dark circle, you'll need separate concealer to conceal skin imperfection. This is nowhere comparable to Estee Lauder Double Wear that can cover most imperfections without concealer. Am not trying to compare both since the price are totally different, but I'm giving a clarification since lots of people say that they are comparable.

This foundation does control oil and will stay put if you don't rub your face. But i wont repurchase because how tight it feels on skin when layered and I prefer foundation with fuller coverage

I am NC43 in Mac Studio Fix Fluid Foundation and use this in shade 108. This foundation is not high in coverage, but it does give the skin a clean, polished, brightened look. I wear this under Mac NC43 powder daily for work and I love it. The price point and coverage is perfect for daily wear.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS FOUNDATION. The shade 105 natural beige matches my skin really well and the coverage is just right. Also, it lasts on my face all day without a primer, setting powder or spray and also keeps my shine away. It doesn't feel heavy or cakey. It blends really well into the skin and dried out matte without being flat. It doesn't really have a smell, just a slight regular make up smells that doesn't linger. It reduces the appearance of my pores and makes my skin look smooth and perfect. And i don't have any breakouts caused by this foundation although i'm a super-oily-acne-prone skinned girl. It's worth the price.
