This foundation is my ID/passport photo foundation, as it is cheap and 228 Soft Tan matches my undertones. It is a bit *light*, but still tolerable with some "warmth" added on top.

This foundation is not too thick, not thin, and imparts a build-able, medium coverage. I find that I don't need to set this foundation, but it doesn't get too powdery on my dehydrated skin.

The best part: this foundation does *not* oxidize on my skin--it stays olive all day. I am a Fenty 290, MAC C40, and finding a foundation that nails my olive skin is a feat.

128 Warm Nude matched my light-medium, yellow NC20-NC25 skin fairly well. Starts off slightly pale, but oxidizes over the course of the day to match.

Its mattifying effect starts off too strong, making me look dull and flat; it clings to my every fine line and pore until about midday when my skin has produced enough oil to actually look natural and even kind of glowy. Unfortunately, by the end of a workday at the office, the foundation has started to visibly break up on my very oily skin. The sebaceous filaments on my nose seem to protrude more from my pores after wearing this foundation.

If I were willing to put in more effort to make this work, I would try a primer, finishing powder, setting spray, and/or blotting papers. For now, I’ll keep looking.

Ugh. This was one of the last drugstore foundations for me to try with my super shiny/oily skin. I have melasma/discoloration mostly that needs evening out.

After buying 2 wrong shades (classic ivory - warm nude) that both oxidized too dark on me (I was able to test at home - middle of the day with natural daylight using a mirror by the window on my neck) - I had to go back and return those and buy 110 - Porcelain. Holy crap, I had no idea that I'd been buying too dark foundation! My face is naturally darker than my neck and with my melasma, using a matching foundation ended up making my face look much darker than my neck. I'd never, ever in my life think that a shade like Porcelain would work, but it did. It was a little light, but was the best match for my neck.

This didn't work for me. I tried applying with a damp sponge - nope. The foundation wouldn't even blend or budge. I went back to my ELF brush and it was fine. I found the foundation just sorta "sat" on top of my skin - to the point where if I took a baby wipe and wiped a mark off my face, it was like wiping powder off my face. Very odd. YET - after 3 hours - I was a GREASY MESS. Enough so that, when I blotted, I had to use TWO blotting sheets. For a foundation to only last 3 hours? No thank you. Matte and Poreless, not on my skin.

UGH.

Literally the ONLY foundation that i go to when i don't have time to buff out my HE foundations or contour ectra . i can throw this or even Fit Me Dewy alone and be completely satisfied...Imo it's medium coverage bt can be high if layered right, and touch ups if even needed, are SO easy with this foundation.
Highly recommend to anyone xXxXx

Packaging: this comes in a nice glass bottle but no pump :-(. I use my artist palette when utilizing this foundation to keep it hygienic.

I have very oily skin so it's hard to find a suitable foundation that isn't scarily expensive. It goes on a little heavy with a stippling brush so I take my beauty blender and go over my whole face a couple times to make sure it really pressed into my skin and looks as natural as possible. It dries down very quickly so it's better to work in sections. Hands down the beauty blender is the best way to apply it for my skin. It's a medium coverage that can be built up but beware of cake face. If you use a primer and setting spray this foundation really stays put for several hours. After about two hours my Face oil starts to reel its ugly head so I blot throughout the day so my face doesn't feel too heavy. You do feel this foundation. Warm or cold weather. Definitely worse in hot weather.

UPDATE: I set this product aside for a few months so I could try and review others. I decided to give it another go a few days ago and fell back in love with it. It applies so nicely and does NOT look heavy on the skin unless you go in with several layers. Would Def say this is a Medium coverage foundation. I love the matte finish that it dries down too. I have never had any problems with this breaking down on my face and it doesn't gather on the sides of your nose or in any lines. When dried it doesn't stay tacky so I don't have to go heavy on the powder which is a plus. This also looks really nice with the Rimmel stay Matte powder over it. It's just a great foundation at a wonderful Price.

Even if you have dry skin like me, you can use this if you moisturize (fyi: I permanently got rid of dry patches by applying cortisone to those spots for a few days).

Overall, this puts high-end foundations to shame when it comes to leaving the skin looking porcelain-smooth and airbrushed. The coverage is great, it's thin enough to be buildable without looking cakey, the finish is natural matte so it's not flat, and it's long-lasting.

I can't ask for more, even from foundations that cost 10x as much. My only regret is that I didn't find it sooner.

I have repurchased this foundation twice now, and that's saying a lot because I never usually go through one bottle of foundation. I'm constantly trying new products to find the best fit for my skin. I have very oily skin but it's also dry and a lot of foundations can't hold up, are too dry of emphasize my dry area/ fine lines... I'm 33 and I don't have many. but the wrong products really emphasis them. I also don't tend to buy drugstore stuff much. but I took a chance on this foundation and fell in love. I wear my makeup for around 16 hours a day and this lasts through with minor touch up after the 7- 8 hour mark. keeps me nicely matter, and helps my pours appear small. great foundation that's I will continue to buy.

This has solid medium to full coverage. Some say this is good for oily skin which was why I purchased it, but even on my oily areas it was too matte, looked very unnatural and mask-like. I prefer my skin to look like skin, and for my foundation to have the give me the most seamless and natural appearance as possible, so this was not a good fit for me because of that. Also, the chemicals are not great for skin. This foundation caused some breakouts. :-/

I bought this hoping it wouldn't be that matte. Believe me, it is extremely matte and powdery. The coverage was okay. I looked terrible wearing it; old and my skin was incredibly dry and flakey. The color match oxidized slightly. Do not use this unless you have oily skin and don't expect much from a foundation. The packaging is the worst...glass, heavy, and no pump. Save your money or return!

I'm currently using Maybelline FIT Me Foundation in shade 128 Warm Nude. I'm an NC25. 128 has a yellow tone which I like as it fits my natural skin colour although I will try a darker colour once I have finished this bottle. I usually mix this foundation with Benefit's Dew The Hoola to get a darker tan look for my fair olive skin.

It blends really nicely with my Wet N Wild Flat Top Brush, Real Techniques expert face brush or a Beauty Blender. I usually finish off with NYX Matte Setting Spray and the foundation stays all day on my skin (10 - 12 hours). It doesn't make all my pores gone on the side of my cheeks but it does cover them.

I have oily combination skin (mostly oily on T zone), live in tropical humid climate and I have not been bloating for the past 3 hours. I'm pretty satisfied with this product and its affordable. I wish our official Maybelline counters sells them here as I can only get this foundation through an online reseller website.
