Oh Guerlain, you always know the way to a woman's heart, be it with your makeup, skin care, or perfumes. I got Clair as I have pale olive skin, and I am obsessed. This gives the perfect lit from within glow! It feels so silky, creamy and smooth, and it does not dry my already dry skin out or make me look flat/dull like many powders do. It does not emphasize my pores, it doesn't give an off color to my complexion, and it doesn't make my skin feel tight either. This is such a true JOY to use! I use my Chikuhodo Z1 to apply it globally, and my Z4 to use it more concentrated as a very soft highlight. It gives you the most natural glow you could imagine, but better. A pretty, luxurious container of Photoshop! This smells absolutely divine as well- it smells just as luxurious as it looks and feels, like powdery, soft Violet. It is very reminiscent of the Meteorites edt, but more soliflore. Heavenly to use, smell, and experience

I am a major fan of Cle de Peau loose powder and got frustrated when the company changed the packaging and does not sell the refill in my country. This could have changed by now, I'm not sure, but I have moved on to another brand.
I was seeking something that is a great setting powder and something that would not show more of any flakies on my dry patches.
The meteorites was getting a lot of criticism recently due to the new packaging, less of the product and price increase. I had to see this powder for myself and I loved the finished look on my skin. I ended up purchasing 1 Blanc de Perle, the lightest shade that has mainly pearly white balls, some lilac, pink and yellow. I think this is perfect for combination, normal to dry skin. For oily skin, don't expect the powder to soak up all the oil on your skin, only to give a nice sheen. The coverage is light, so this is a perfect setting powder.
The pink brush that matches the packaging is attractive, but the bristles is too rough, so I rather stick with my Hakuhodo brushes.

As for the packaging, it is a pretty, delicate, precious, elegant, metal packaging with elegant floral design that Guerlain is known for. The lid is firmly in place and has a wide opening for a very large fluffy, soft brush can fit in there. There is absolutely no shame to have anyone snoop your vanity table and to find this pretty package and great brand. A mesh cover is not required since the powder is in balls and easily picked up on the most soft brush you own. Inside the part that hold the balls, is a plastic lining and as for the lid, it is all metal. I think the packaging can be reused to store other items when you are finished with all the powder.
There is a scent, which is very light and didn't aggravate me during allergy season.

I bought this in March after getting a call from the MUA following my purchase of Guerlain meteorites' Crazy Paris limited edition ones in Dec last year (I was added to their customer base). She said it was newly launched (these are the reformulated ones relaunched some time this year) and I was sooo excited, went in store the same day! She suggested the 03 Medium one which I am to understand is the previous version's 02 Teint Beige. Despite the hefty price tag I purchased it then and there.

I think my review says it all when, one fine day I brushed some on my face (I hardly use em cause I love the product oh-so-much and I have this "thing" about keeping it nice and locked up in the safety of my house…..) and headed out for some shopping when this guy, totally random, stopped in his tracks and said "you are beautiful you know that!" His voice was practically raised and I got quite alarmed! He then walked ahead of me and he even turned around and said Just beautiful! to my face again and I graciously said thank you, thinking it HAS to be these pearls! Let me get this straight: No one has ever, ever stopped me on the streets before because they just HAVE to tell me how beautiful I looked. He wasn't even trying to hit on me or anything. I whipped out my pocket mirror and examined my face only to find it absolutely radiant in a very natural way (that doesn't happen very often!). If this pearls don't give you a confidence booster, I don't know what will!
