This Is my first review on make up alley and I decided to open this account specifically to give this product a review. I got the sleeping mask about two weeks now and I have used it almost overnight. From the first night I notice that this product left my skin super hydrated and didn't irritated my breakouts which as a matter of fact are almost completely gone!

the cons: The smell can be kind of annoying
The packaging is very far from ideal

regardless I feel like this product is completely changing my skin and can't wait to see how my skin keeps getting better, so because of that I'll put up with the smell, the packaging and the fact that is a sleeping mask so you need to let it dry a bit if you don't wanna mess your pillowcases.

I love masks and trawl MakeupAlley for any that get good reviews. Even though there were only two reviews here I knew I was most likely going to buy it because they'd said such good things about this one. I bought it around a month ago and having been using it a couple of times a week.

So, my skin is dehydrated and prone to getting red and irritated without any warning. I like masks that soothe and plump up my skin and this mask does exactly that with the added bonus that my skin becomes much softer and smoother as well.

The smell: It's not great but I'm not the kind of person to be put off by a product that doesn't smell amazing, it would have to smell pretty dire for me to give it away or bin it. It smells like chemical carrot juice or tropical juice that's gone off a bit but it's not the most offensive smelling product I've ever had. If results are more important to you than the smell, this mask won't give you any trouble.

The feel: If you take a little bit between your fingers you can feel that it's very rich. Most of the time with rich products, I find they won't absorb if I put them on the back on my hand. They'll just sink in a little and make my hand shiny and oily and I can still rub some of it off, but if you put a bit of this mask on the back of your hand it'll absorb in less than 20 seconds. I mean it completely absorbs, no residue.
On my face, it takes a little longer to absorb because it's less dry than my hands and I also go for a thick mask in 10 minutes over a thiner layer overnight, but I imagine it absorbs pretty quickly as a thin layer. When I wash it off, I find it comes off well when I use a face washer and my skin feel instantly softer and plumper. I don't find that it leaves any residue when I wash it off.

The packaging: The packaging for this is the worst. I have the pump bottle and when I first got it, I didn't know how to get the product out. You take the silver lid off and then push down on the sides. In the centre, there's a little circle that stays where it is and the product oozes out from the sides of it. It's so incredibly messy and I'm not sure why they went this route. After you've put the stuff on your face, you then have to give the top a wipe, otherwise any product that's still there will get hardened and gross. Apart from the functionality, the bottle looks great and it's got a nice eye-catching orange so I won't forget to use it.

Why I would buy it again: I'm fairly sure I would buy this again. I bought it from a store that offers low prices on higher end products and they often have sales and discounts. I don't think I'd buy this full price, but as long as that website keeps offering discounts and having sales, I will keep buying it.

This mask is the business. It delivers that glow. Results are instant and consistent.

It has a creamy texture and citrus-y scent that reminds me a lot of REN's Glycol Lactic Mask (another favorite) but it is much gentler than the REN mask and its results are superior in my opinion. This PTR mask makes my skin so bright and luminous, this is one of those rare high-end skincare products that's actually worth the pricetag.

After application, it does not dry completely and leaves a sticky and tacky layer on top of the skin. I do not wear this overnight because I don't trust that this won't end up all over my pillowcase. So instead I just leave it on for 30 or 40 minutes, longer if I can. And after I rinse off my skin looks so glowy, it actually has that lit-from-within effect. I love this product.

The packaging is fabulous. It's a pump-dispenser canister that keeps the product fresh and uncontaminated. It's a little pricey at $62 for a 100ml/3.3oz, but that really is a large amount of product that will last a long time.

I will definitely buy this again. Recommended! LOVE!!

I got a sample of this, tried it and in the morning was blown away by the change in my skin! I'm late 40's and an avid retinol user, but for the last few months, my skin has had a dull, pasty "tired" appearance, even though I keep it exfoliated. There was just no glow any more. Well, I have my glow back, along with smoother, fresher, firmer, pinker, more even toned radiance. It has even softened my fine, crepey lines around my eyes! I now use it about every other day or more, alternating it with the retinol, and I am afraid people will start asking if I've had a laser peel done, lol! They will think I am lying when I say "no"! This mask contains a hefty dose of C, peptides, and bearberry extract, all of which I didn't have in my skincare routine. I had tried C creams and serums before, but hate that smell, so I'd always give up early on. Since this is used at night, I don't have to think about the smell. The mask is in a pump container that protects the vitamin C from exposure to air and light, so I don't worry about it oxidizing and going brown before I finish it. Love it!
