I used this as a color additive with my color Ion silver pearl. I bleached my whole head with Ion bleach then used silver pearl and half bottle of 050. I only mixed the ratio for color and nedded no developer for additive. When bleaching i used double 20 vol developer to 1 part bleach. My hair came out this amazing silver color. I left the color in for 30 minutes. Don't be tempted to wash it …Read more

This product is brilliant! After colouring my hair dark brown I was left with orange toned roots - not a good look! I mixed some of this with 20% developer (I think 10% is best for this purpose but 20 was all I had) and applied it to my roots. Left it for 30 minutes and it toned my roots down to the same colour as the rest of my hair. What a relief! My hair didn't feel damaged afterwards …Read more

YES YES YES! Brassy brunettes - REJOICE WITH THIS PRODUCT. If you want to remove brass - buy this. If you want to add an awesome gray dimension to your hair - TRY THIS.

I have darker light to medium brown hair with some silver coming in and have several natural white streaks in my hair (think, Rogue. Had them since I was born.) Because of hard water, sun exposure, and daily wear and …

I lighten my hair at home from medium/light brown to a level 9 blonde. My favored toner has pretty much always been Wella Color Charm T14, the one originally called Silver Lady. I like a very ashy, silvery blonde. Recently I mistakenly purchased 2 bottles of T18. I've used T18 before but it never toned as well for me as the T14 - some yellows and pale oranges tended to stick around. I …Read more

I use 050 as an additive to wella T18 and it's the only combination which leaves my hair the silvery grey I've been aiming for. My natural hair is a fair blonde, but I chose to bleach prior to using these which might effect the outcome, and oh boy did I fall in love !

After bleaching, my hair was looking something like the imside of a banana peel (very attractive) pale but …

I've used this again and again. Never on its own for pure silver, but in varying strengths as additive. A few capfuls in my regular t14/18 toners give it more oomph. Most recently I had blorange hair that was so stubborn. I mixed half and half this 050 with wella frosty ash high lift blonde color, double the 20 developer and left on only about 15 minutes since I was worried my hair looked …Read more

I don't know why this isn't talked and raved about more often! This is the only thing that worked and busted that horrible brassy orange gold out of my hair. I'm about a level 9 or 10 on my top half, and I just could not get rid of that orange gold. I tried several different Wella toners, especially the T14 because it is suppose to tone orange gold, but I couldn't get it to …Read more

This is supposed to be a toner additive to squelch red/brass. I use it as a toner to get silver/grey locks. It works really well but you need to leave it on only long enough to...get it on. Otherwise it'll get really dark, but if it does you can just wash it out in a couple of vigorous shampoos. Much cheaper than Kendra I think it's called "metallic silver" but basically the …Read more
