Back in the day, I used to use the uber expensive T.LeClerc loose powder in Banane, which retails at a whopping $52 in the US. This $6 yellow powder is really, truly comparable in terms of performance, color, and packaging. This stuff is amazing, and it's only $6! I have pale, olive skin that is hard to match, and this works wonderfully to set my makeup and concealer. I don't apply it with the puff, instead I shake some out onto the puff and apply lightly with a powder brush. It works great, brightens my skin, sets my makeup, keeps shine off my forehead. Not to date myself, but the T.LeClerc used to be very popular in the 90's and I believe I remember a make up artist using this on Foxy Brown, so this would work on a variety of skin tones, not just for pale ladies. It just brightens the skin so nicely. I had to order this, couldn't get it anywhere locally.
