Unusual cream foundation which can be tricky to apply to the face. It needs warming up so applying with fingers is helpful. It has a slightly dewy, very natural finish. I am fair with neutral undertone and a NC15 in MAC. I matched best with Lightness - the lightest shade. NW15 is close to Like Porcelain. If you’re NC10 both will be too dark.

I’m really enjoying this cream foundation …

Please excuse me while I rave like a maniac about Kjaer Weis in general and the foundation in particular. When I first heard about Kjaer Weis and looked up the prices, I just laughed and forgot about it for a year or so. Then slowly but surely I became intrigued about the line while trying to move into all-green products and tried out a couple of items, which lead to a couple more, then a couple …Read more

This is a bit of a saga.

When I first got this foundation I got some tiny shade samples and found a match without getting to properly try the application. I then promptly bought it because it has rave reviews and I've had a hard time finding good shade matches in general. My shade is Lightness which is nearly identical to my skintone. I use RMS uncoverup in 00 (it's a tad …

OK, wow. I love this. I love this! This is the perfect complexion product for me - very pigmented, weightless, wears like iron, looks like skin. Can't get over how imperceptible this is, neither matte nor dewy, perfecting but not inhumanly flawless. It reads like skin, only better, especially when used like a flexible concealer, just here and there where needed. Lightness is a good match for …Read more

This is a great green foundation in sustainable packaging. It does need to be applied a certain way though, which can be a bit faffy. I find it works best when applied over a face oil, spread with fingers and buffed in with a damp beauty blender. Coverage is medium, sometimes I wish it was a little more pigmented though (compared with the RMS Beauty Uncover up, which is incredibly pigmented). It …Read more

This organic foundation seems to require a delicate balance between the user's own skin pH/texture/oils, as well as the products you are using with it.

For my extremely delicate skin, it is a fantastic foundation. Organic, pricey with the first purchase (it gets discounted once you only purchase the foundation without packaging), but works wonderfully and easily outperforms …

I can't even remember since when I've been looking for a good organic foundation. And yet without much success. Whether the shades offered simply always were too dark for my super fair skin or the foundation just didn't do it qualitywise.
I already own some of Kjaer Weis' Liptints and blushes which I absolutely love, but until recently they didn't offer a foundation …

I stumbled upon Kjaer Weis (thank you Net-a-porter!) and after watching countless Youtube videos and reading reviews/looking at swatches I took the $$$ plunge and bought the color Paper Thin (FYI I'm between Teint Idol 24H Bisque 310C and 220C, and Luminous Silk 5 and 5.5.) I've been using this foundation for the last week, experimenting really and I'm really really impressed, and …Read more

It can be hard to find good quality natural makeup that won't clog pores or irritate sensitive skin. I use this foundation to spot conceal blemishes and scars for my acne-prone light olive complexion and found it the most effective organic concealer I have ever used. I found the colour to be a very good match (for most of the year) and it did not clog my pores or cause a breakout. The …Read more

I have very sensitive fair skin and I have tried almost every organic/natural foundation available. Kjaer Weis is amazing! It leaves a natural, almost luminous feel and doesn't separate through the day. I usually get about 8 hours of wear from it and us RMS Un powder for my T-zone. I will note the moisturizer you use underneath makes a huge difference! I use Purlisse moisturizer (Currently …Read more
