My elbows are very dry and this hand butter improves greatly their appearance. Plus, the cream doesn't make hands sticky or greasy, leaving them very soft instead.

4) Long-lasting hydration: True

Packaging:
Small plastic tub with a screw-on lid. Pink packaging, ingredients and such listed on the packaging as well. easy to open and close and it works well for travel. It can get dirty under the lid, in the space between the lid and the tub. This only occurs when used for travel.

Formula:
A thick, strongly scented butter. Rose fragrance, although definitely artificial. Only slightly oily, easy to smooth into skin when using small amounts. It contain rosehip oil, which I believe can be irritating for some, so do test it out at the store.

Performance:
This is a very moisturizing hand butter, doesn't leave my skin oily once it has sunk in, and thus can work well during the day. The scent is very strong, definitely a sweet fake rose. I do not like the fragrance -- it is designed for "mature women" and it definitely does remind me of a stereotypical grandmother fragrance. The scent does linger as well, so it works best to use at night if fragrances bother you. I do find, however, that once it has been rubbed in and has soaked in, it smells more like tea than like a strong fake rose scent, and is thus more tolerable. Not much is needed to moisturize the hands and it spreads over skin very nicely. Softens and hydrates my cuticles very nicely, as well as very dry skin; I feel that the moisture is also lasting, so that when the product is washed off my skin is still very soft. Takes anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes to absorb, which is pretty good for a heavy cream. Some of the other TBS hand butters moisturize very well but do not absorb at all, so this one is definitely better suited to all-day usage.

Bang for your Buck:
The website sells the butter fro $20USD, about $12 when on sale. It has 100ml or 3.5oz or product. This is definitely on the small side for how much it costs, and if used frequently in the day it will be used up quickly. Better for once or twice a day usage, although not a whole lot is actually needed.

Final Consensus:
Overall is a very nice hand cream for those with dry skin who want a product that will sink into the skin more quickly while still providing a lot of moisture. not ideal for those who are sensitive to strong fragrances or who do not like strong floral scents; I dislike the fragrance but the performance is good enough that I can look past this.
