This is my HG vitamin C serum. I guess I'm in the minority.
Upon application it mattifies my skin and makes my skin tone look very even. I'm oily so the matte effect I like, also has a bit of a tightening effect that smoothes out my skin/minor wrinkles I may have, this looks especially nice in the under eye area, I always apply sunscreen after and makeup so a matte base is nice …

I'm almost done with my bottle so I can give an opinion now.

Smell: Strong chemical smell. Weird. Not bad, but odd. I don't like it.
Packaging: Meh. Not good, not bad. At least it's big, so you're getting a lot for your money.
Price: Not bad for a serum, but it's all a waste of money since this thing doesn't work.

I like the consistency of this product. Very light/Watery lotion consistency. Does it work, honestly im not sure. I dont see a big difference and im almost done with the bottle. One thing i HATE about the packaging is that leftover from the spout crust over and i have to use a pin to clear it. I have to do it every other week. Its really inconvenient and annoying. Update:
Just to let you know how much I like this serum - my initial review was posted in October of 2013. It's now July of 2015 and I'm still using it daily.
They have fiddled with the formula a bit. The ingredients haven't really changed, but the proportions must have. The serum now has a lighter, more fluid, more serum-like texture.
