This is a very classy perfume, I find it to be a sweet floral with a slightly fruity undertone. The top notes are quite a sharp flowery scent on me, but quickly settle into a sweeter, floral fragrance. I like the fruity notes, but on my skin the floral notes are well and truly at the forefront of this perfume. Whilst this may be a positive for some, for me the fragrance is a bit too florally for me to enjoy. I wouldn't wear this everyday, I would wear it for a formal event where I want to feel mature and classy. This would be perfect for lovers of floral perfumes and those wanting a mature and classic perfume. It has good lasting power, lasting all day on me and even longer on my clothes. A little goes a long way as it can become overpowering quite quickly. A nice fragrance, but not the one for me.

Top Notes: Cassis.
Heart Notes: Freesia, May Rose.
Base Notes: Vanilla, Patchouli, Ambroxan, Woody Notes.

I received this for my 4-0th bday gift from my daddy. He picked it out hisself at ulta! So proud of him! My mom and dad keep saying to buy one good perfume rather than all that VS & Preferred Fragrance (fakes), [& fake oils I'll never give up my oils!] fare. This smells easily elegant & sexy very age appropriate for me but not in the least racy nor scandalous. Just right for any occasion from a white t shirt with jeans to a party or work or hey wearing a white t shirt with jeans to a work party (haha if that ever happened stranger things have lol) I'm sure this is expensive so I ordered the oil from eBay of si intense for $6.95 for 1/3oz. I'll save the good juice for when I'm going out. As for not lasting ur nose gets used to a scent u can't smell it for more than 5-10mins if u can detect it for 2 hours on urself u may be possibly fumigating urself, u wear perfume for others to enjoy. I read that from an eBay etailer leaflet that came w a perfume I had ordered. I have Tresor nuit, LVEB, Decadence, & Si Intense oils on order. I just got Alien & Angel :-) im addicted to 1/3oz oils my budget & nose like them! I already have flowerbomb oil. All of those scents are cost prohibitive for me in edt.

There are several things i love about this perfume... The fact that 10 or so seconds after spraying, you can smell that cassis and soft rose at a level where i can smell it on me and within a short distance, but it doesn't smack me in the face at a level where it's way too strong! After about ten or so minutes i can smell both vanilla and patchouli subtly, but not so much that it takes over the fragrance. Soft spicy with a touch of wood makes it a beautiful but not overbearing perfume, and there have been so many overbearing perfumes lately with way too much patchouli or other particularly highly overused scents. Nice to see one that i don't have to worry about wearing in front of others.

I own more than 40 fragrances and this is the one that garners the most compliments from those around me (major man magnet too...try it out and see for yourself). It's sweet but also chic and versatile, can be worn from day to night, and will suit many different occasions (office, evening, dinner, dates, nights out and about, etc). Si may be too mature for teens, but it's perfect for women in their 20's. It's also sophisticated enough for women in their 30's, 40's and beyond, and those who enjoy sweet smells but don't want to smell juvenile or like straight up candy.

It's in the same fragrance family as Lancome's La Vie Est Belle and V&R's Flowerbomb, but this one has a crisp and slightly sharp green element to it that makes it less cloyingly sweet, and easier to wear than either of those two. This 'crisp/green' nuance in Si makes it quite distinctive, saving it from being just another Flowerbomb/LVEB smell-alike (off-topic: if you do want a cheaper alternative to Flowerbomb, check out Aquolina's 'Pink Sugar Sparks').

Anyways...this is my signature scent for fall and winter. It also wears well in spring and on breezy summer nights. If you're looking for a 'cleaner', crisper and more versatile alternative to La Vie Est Belle (which I personally cannot wear...too loud, too 'frilly girly', too much), then try Si. If you love sweet scents but still want to be taken seriously, try Si. It lasts a whole day on me without needing touch-ups and the scent could fill a whole room if you spray on too much (careful with that! two sprays is good enough for daytime...add another 2-3 sprays for night-time if you want all eyes on you). I will always repurchase, and I hope it never gets discontinued.

Have just purchased my 2nd bottle of Si. It is beautiful, I wear it as my everyday fragrance as it is a light gentle scent, defiantly not overpowering

Since Armani isn't cruelty-free, I won't be repurchasing this, but other than that, I love this perfume.
Just a matter of taste. I personally love the scent, sweet but somehow a bit spicy. Lasts long, in contrast to other voices here I feel there is sophistication, maturity, and femininity to it. I always feel very woman when I wear it, and a little sexy, too.

I have tested this and hate it! I usually love Armani perfumes but this is the only one I don't care for. It's disgustingly sweet and would give someone a headache. It's also bitter and smells like bug spray in a way. If you want the same strong sweet smell, I would say go to la vie set belle by lancome.

Giorgio Armani Si is a very close cousin, as many have noted to Lancome's La Vie Est Belle, which, to me and on my skin, smells like a more wearable, lighter version of Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle. The Lancome and Chanel seem more directly similar with their prominent notes of orange blossom and a sugared patchouli vibe which is similar too but more refined and not nearly as sweet as Viktor and Rolf's Flowebomb.

Si is unique to all these others in that it has a sour grape (listed in notes as blackcurrant but it seems also grapey to me) tinge that gives the impression of wine or maybe champagne (but honestly I get more of a red wine/red grape feel) to the sugared patchouli, where orange blossom and jasmine are found in La vie est belle and Coco Mademoiselle. And that sourness does add a refreshing break-up to the sweet patchouli notes unlike Flowerbomb which is just straight up sweet/

Out of the mix of all of these mentioned, Armani Si may be my favorite of this mix because it is slightly more unique and not being so sweet and heavy and dense at the same time as the Chanel, but the mere fact that I mentioning so many other fragrances, and not just for the sake of pointing out differences, but also a lot of key similarities, makes me feel that this fragrance is just too similar, though I can see why it is so well-tried and well loved and deservedly well-appreciated. It is just not for me. Also, the sour grape note after even just a few minutes of wear turns very bitter and metallic on my skin, which may be a nuance rather than a negative that brings more character to the fragrance, and, again, while it DOES help set it apart from these other fruit/sugared patchouli delectables out there, I just don't find the way it wears on my skin all that pleasant to my own tastest. But everyone is different, so it may be something you enjoy and/or that wears beautifully on your skin

Please don't wear this by me. Instant migraine and makes me want to vomit. It is one of those types of fragrances for me. I cannot stand it. And unfortunately it has great sillage so it is in the air and everywhere so I will smell you coming and going. Please be kind and keep for your evenings out. Love from a migraine sufferer.

I don't know jack about perfumes, but this perfume is exactly what I would imagine super high class escorts smell like. LOL. I don't think that is a bad thing, but it obviously depends on what you're looking for.
It's a very heavy, very sexy scent. It's almost pornographic, but not in a cheap, trashy way. It makes me think of sex, pearls, heavy lipstick, liquor, candles and old fashioned beds with baldaquins.
On me it has great staying power, to the point where I get tired of smelling it all day.
I like it.

Edit: Don't pay attention to people saying this lasts 5 minutes. That's ridiculous. They probably get used to it and can't smell it anymore. EVERYBODY has commented of how persistent this perfume is. My best friend said "My gosh, I can't believe you still smell so intensely" (I was wearing this for a good 4-5 hours), and I don't use a lot of this, just one or two spritzes.
