I enjoy using this as a serum and first step in my nightly skincare routine. What I do is cleanse my skin, apply this, then cream. It works really well. This is also great as a primer and final step in the AM. I call this my “final step” moisturizer or my first step. It adds extra oil that seals everything in or a starter to get lipids in the skin. It’s a sealing moisturizer basically …Read more

I have dry, sensitive, eczema prone skin but even this moisturizer seems to be a little too greasy for me. I initially wanted to try the Gel version, but the lady working at the counter strongly suggested for me to try this one, given my skin type. Just 30 minutes later my forehead is a shiny mess and my face feels super oily and greasy. It definitely leaves my skin moisturized, but also leaves …Read more

I love this. Many years ago I tried the DDML and hated it, I'm not sure if it was the old formula or simply because I had different skin back in the day. But these new ingredients are the bomb. I like layering products, but if I absolutely had to pick one product I would use the DDML alone and still have moisturized, supple skin. This is the only moisturizer I take with me when I travel, it …Read more

Got a sample. Within seconds my skin felt like I'd sunburn. Washed it off. Feel hives appearing. Terrible lesson to learn. It must be the lanolin or the colours.

I would not re purchase this but if I got a sample in say a beauty box or in my sister swap I would definitely use.

Cons
price point

pros
perfect way to describe this is that its okay but nothing special. I prefer to use the ordinary moisturizer then this. Its $6.00 and leaves my skin more hydrated then this does. I will finish the whole bottle but will not …

I really like this product. I would usually buy the moisturising gel being very oily as a teenager and young adult but my skin is drier and more sensitive now so this one seemed better considering my skin is drier now. I’ve always had a high opinion of Clinique products, especially their oil free products and their pep start eye cream. This feels very clean and fresh on the skin, not heavy and …Read more

This works well as a makeup base before applying the clinique even better anti-pollution spf40. However over the course of the day, my skin gets oilier and makeup starts to breakdown. For reference i have slightly oily skin with dry flakes(due to tretinoin use). Nonetheless this moisturizer did not give me breakouts (unlike the moisture surge range). Might be suitable for drier skin types.

Clinique DDML+ balances and hydrates my skin without leaving a greasy residue. This has been a staple for both my husband and I for years. I have tried a lot of moisturizers on the market - a lot of them boast made from natural ingredients and luxury ones too, but I always come back to this. CAD$36 for 4.2oz is a bargain, in my opinion. I have and will continue to repurchase this moisturizer.

BEWARE IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN! I have ultra-sensitive, dry skin and this moisturiser just burns my face and sits on the surface. It has an obvious irritant for sensitive skin - LANOLIN ALCOHOL not to mention colour, with no soothing ingredients. The other Clinique moisturising lotions ( gel and jelly) are not hydrating enough. Instead, I use Marcelle Moisture Cream (for daily hydration for …Read more
