This perfume is characterised by milky notes, powerful and sweet. A hint of spice (cardamom) is said to be present, reinforcing the impression of a hot rice pudding. The milkiness is amplified by smooth sandalwood (as in Guerlain's Samsara), and no doubt vanilla.

As well as lactic it is also lactonic, a fair chunk of coumarin there, bringing an association with H and G's Blask. Where is differs from Blask is in a definite fruitiness, like Mirabelle plum, taking it in the direction of Dior's Poison. It also alludes to Fahrenheit, with a violet-ionone nuance.

The German marketing mentions green and earthy aspects, and good luck to you if you can find them, but for once the marketer's idea of a "Perfume of Attachment" may contain a grain of sense, Candour being the sort of odour that might surround a baby at feeding time.

I found the fragrance repellent at first, but later a fascination grew on me. It has a lot of character and should do well in the modern voguefor gourmand notes
