A beautiful, soft, elegant scent that works well for day and night. It stays with me for at least a morning, then I have to spray at least once again. I love how it's feminine and classic as well. But I'm the type who likes to buy 30 or 50 ml; 100 ml is too much a commitment, so after I'm done with this bottle, I'm taking a long break.

This is a great fresh floral that has some lasting power. The main part is the moheli flower (Ive never smelled real moheli flowers but to me it smells like a Jasmine/hyacinth/daffodile mix) and in the back of the floral is a nice green smell, imagine a fresh steamy jungle. On me the smell doesnt evolve much. After an hour or two the green smell is less but the floral remains. I really enjoy this smell but it is unique and not unique at the same time. Its composed of smells we all know and have had before in other perfumes and is not mindblowingly different but unique in its own way. Its definitely a warmer weather smell, but i sometimes use it in winter. I bought the roll on and I must say I hate the design. It is convenient and easy to travel with but the cap always suncrews and leaks everywhere! I lost over half the liquid because of this flawed design, and not to mention my bag still strongly smells, in a nice way of course. Next time Ill buy the spray. Overall this gets a 5 from me, 5 on price since it does last long and you dont need much and a 1 on packaging (roll on only) since it leaks no matter how tightly I screw the cap on.

Eau Moheli is a very un-Diptyque fragrance. It doesnt smell modern, but instead very 'retro' --- it's basically a softened 80's bouquet reminiscent of Amarige, Giorgio Beverly Hills, Tresor, and all the other 'big', heady florals of that era. Ylang is prominent, along with rose, tuberose, and other white blooms.Even though the *sillage* is not so big (it's a watered down, slightly more crystalline 80's floral), the *notes* are very reminiscent of the 80s----and this in itself, triggers a LOT of responses in people.I wore it in a cab with my colleagues, and all of them started rolling down the windows instantly. Another time, while spritzing it, two friends recoiled and said, "eww.. smells like an old lady!" (despite them being "OL" status themselves --ah well, some people just dont' know). After telling them it was Diptyque, they were shocked --- both of them own Diptyque candles and are familiar with their fragrances. But Eau Moheli made them scratch their heads in confusion. To me, Eau Moheli smells very un-diptyque. it smells a little old-fashioned. There's a time and a place for a big 'Dynasty'-style floral. But who knows? Vintage and Retro always is in fashion, and perhaps Diptyque is just bringing it back.

To me this is a really green fragrance, but musky at the same time. I love it for summer. It's refreshing and interesting. The fragrance features floral notes, ylang-ylang, patchouli, pink pepper, ginger, vetiver, benzoin and incense.
