Returned to Sephora. I should know better than to buy products without looking them up on here first. I have other Stila lip creams, and they are universally fantastic, so I bought this on a whim without proper research. Def came back to bite me.

Not docking this down to one star because part of the reason why I returned is personal preference - I am medium skinned with blue undertones, and this read SO ORANGE on me. Like highlighter orange. I like a good bright lip as much as the next girl, but yikes. Not something I could ever wear to work, and definitely not flattering enough to reach for when I'm out for fun. If you are anything darker than pale, know that it is...vivid.

The application of this product is shockingly terrible. It is patchy and does not have good coverage, at all. I don't know if this has a different formula than the others or what, but it is BAD. It didn't cover my natural lip color fully (I do not have especially pigmented lips, either). I put on two coats and it was still incredibly uneven. It also settled into the lines of my lips immediately, and just made them look gross.

I can't tell you the wear-time on this, because I took it off after an hour and went back to my beloved Sephora cream lip stains. Definitely do not recommend. At all. A surprisingly awful lip product from a company who I generally trust to get lips right.

I have this lipstick in a different color and I love it. So I loved the color of this lipstick so I decided to buy it but it did not work well for me. I have naturally darker lips. It goes on very weird for me. It's like it doesn't go into my lips and creates lines and it beads when I smack my lips together. It doesn't stay on as long as my other color. I will not buy again.

Had great hopes for this, and in fact, the color is beautiful. However, you only need a TINY bit of this and spreading the color becomes difficult since so much of it is on the applicator no matter how you try to avoid it. That means you have to use your fingers or some other applicator to "fix" leaving stains on said fingers. Not only that, but I found that the color came off just as much as other lipstick. Disappointing and back to Sephora!

I will say the formula feels nice though - especially compared to Revlon's liquid lipstick which is sticky and drying (though more staying power). Hope that they make some corrections. Don't waste your time.

I had high hopes for this, I really did. Initially I thought I was sold a lipstick that had passed its shelf life but I found it was the formula itself. I tried to use it for about a week but I found that each time, no matter what I used as a base, it would come off in chunks the second I pressed my lips together. I started using it with my too faced lip injection extreme as a base and it stayed on... But as an orange gloss that looked really tacky.

So just before I gave up, I decided to use it with a lip brush instead of the applicator. And it worked! You seriously only need a drop. I don't even swipe it off the applicator sponge. I swipe a bit off the stick and put it straight on over my mac lip primer. But because it dries out your lips like crazy, it's not buildable. So the best you can do is wear it as a really pale orange and maybe reapply where you need it throughout the day.

Considering its price ($39 here in Australia) I would not buy this again. Too much hassle just for a lippy.
