After years on antibiotics, dianette, Panoxyl, sulphur tablets etc I began using dermalogica dermal clay which was amazing at clearing up my skin and soaking up excess oil but after about four years of use it began to be too harsh for my skin and was drying it out and irritating my eye area. I had heard one pal rave about liz Earle and had seen positive reviews about it in mags so made an online …Read more

This is, quite undoubtably, my all time HG cleanser. I have tried many cleansers and this one just knocks every single one of them out of the way! I came to discover it from several recommendations from friends, because I have never really used Liz Earle before. I quite like the cleanser and cloth technique, it makes me feel as though its getting a thorough, deep clean at the beginning and end of …Read more

I honestly don't understand the hype. I like the product and the cloth technique but it doesn't wow me.
When I bought it (in summer) I didn't like the buttery texture but I find that it works a lot better during winter when my skin turns from combination-oily to dry. It feels moisturising and doesn't strip the oil out of my face but leave it quite clean.
I do like …

I was unsure a product like this would work for my acne prone skin, I'd seen how rich this looked on TV and that initially put me off.
However I took a chance as my skin was looking pretty bad at the time so it couldn't of got much worse and my natural olive soap was drying me out.
After using this I really like this product, it doesn't dry out my skin, it removes all …

I am only writing this review as I scanned makeup alley often for advice on what other acne sufferers said helped them, and I would like to advise others.

Since using this product (along with the toner and moisturiser in the Liz Earle range) my skin has got a lot better. Before using it I was waking up daily with a huge spot and was worried I would have to go back on Roaccutane which I …

Words cannot describe how much I love this cleanser! I suffer from very dry skin, especially in the winter months so I decided to treat myself to this Christmas time and I haven't looked back or regretted it for a second! My skin is definitely looking and feeling healthier since I've used this. After I've used it my skin feels so fresh and so relaxed - as bizzarre as that sounds …Read more

I didn't like this when i first bought it but I realize it's an excellent cleanser in the colder weather when my skin is dryer and needs to keep its moisture. I have combo skin that only really gets dry in the winter.
In my LE order I also bought the oil which wasn't as good for my skin and definitely broke me out but once I tried this again in the colder weather i was VERY …

I use more so as a make up remover rather than a cleanser simply because it removes EVERYTHING! There is not one tiny little trace of makeup at all left on my face after I cleanse with .

I don't use it just as a cleanser because i like having lots of water and cleansers that lather up or have exfoliating beads on my face.

I don't bother with the Liz Earl muslin …

This probably gets a 2.5 from me. I just don't think it's quite right for my skin which is prone to clogged pores and hormonal breakouts - I feel the buttery texture might be contributing to an excess of congestion, and if not making my breakouts worse, it's obviously doing nothing to help them. It might be worth a try for those with dry skin - though I must note that it did …Read more

Packaging
Firstly, I love the packaging and infact the branding of Liz Earle products across the board. They look and feel sophisticated yet understated which I really like.

Cleanser
The product itself really is fantastic. The product glides well onto the skin and manages to dissolve make up with ease. Now here comes the clever part...the residue can be carefully and …
