Nope.Wand is too big I kept poking my eyes. The product bleeds on my oily lids and looking like a panda is inevitable so I won't be repurchasing.

I am OBSESSED with this mascara. Urban Decay Perversion used to be my holy grail and this mascara reminds me of that. It's sooooo inexpensive but works amazingly. When I first bought it, I was disappointed because it didn't do much. I let it sit for a week and, now, I cna't stop using this!10/10 would highly recommend!

As the name implies, you do have to be partial to a more dramatic, voluminous eye "look" to really appreciate this mascara. This is not a subtle, buildable mascara that suits all preferences. For me personally, I enjoy having the mascara add volume quickly and save me time because I do like my lashes thick and almost spidery but not clumpy. After two coats this took care of that and whatever clumping did happen I was able to separate easily. The tube is BIG, the wand is BIG, and this does the same thing to your lashes in record time. Because the applicator is so long, many lashes are coated at one time which will save you time in the morning. When applying this I thought I'd met my all time ride or die fave. The price is of course very reasonable and you do get a lot of product. It dries fairy quickly, held the curl and didn't smudge bad at all. Unfortunately, a few hours later I did have some slight "transfer" of darkness to my undereyes which I wasn't thrilled about, but wasn't terribly noticeable. There was no flaking, however.Because this mascara works well on so many other levels, I will be continuing to use/repurchase for my top lashes ONLY and see if this takes care of the transferring. If it doesn't, I think I will avoid rebuying this and change my rating.Update: Sadly, I have to drop my score for this and say I won't be repurchasing because the mascara has continued to transfer to both the bottom AND top of my eyes, making my browbone and under eyes darker throughout only a couple hours of wear. So disappointing! This mascara is so thick, volumizing and easy to apply, but this is a deal-breaker.

Hmmm... I wanted so badly for this to be a HG for me like it is for so many others. I find that the brush picks up way, way to much product and when you coat your lashes it can be clumpy on the first coat. Two coats and my lashes are spidery and clumpy as all hell. I also didn't find it particularly volumising, but I do like how black and long it makes my lashes. So disappointed by how clumpy and flaky it is :-( Back to the drawing board.

It gives volume and lenght but its so messy to apply. And its clumps more than any other mascara I used. Yes it looks like I'm wearing high end mascara but only because I'm spending a lot of time separating lashes and I am extremly carefull with application. Will not buy this again, only if I wouldn't have money for high end.

The HG mascara for thick lashes! I love the packaging because it's pink and simple. Essence knows how to steal my heart. Anyway, the brush is a plastic one, making my mascara routine so much easier. I get so much volume and thick lashes (a little length, as well) that I couldn't believe that this baby costs way less than a High End mascara. Even my boss (she is female) asked me when I wore this at work if those are false lashes. I told her my secret and she was impressed. ;)
I really want to give 5 lippies but I can't for 2 reasons:
- Whenever you pull out the brush it has a massive product of the mascara on it, so you have to remove some product with a tissue first or you get clumpy lashes.
- The brush itself is so huge that I find some mascara ony eyelid or somewhere nearby. It's a must to pay attention while using this product.
But beside those negatives facts, this is the mascara which I will buy again til it's discontinued (Dare you, essence!).

I didn't it get at first and I thought "wow, this should be called Clump Craze!", but as I managed to use the brush with such a thick mascara this is the one I reach for over and over! Won't irritate the eyes nor flake. It lasts a long time on but won't hold if accidentally rub the eyes like, say, Maybelline mascaras do. I have medium length, averaged up curled lashes. Anyways, specially for the price it's a huge hit. Go for it if you're looking for volume boost.

I really wanted to love this mascara because it was cheap and made my lashes look SUPER black. However, I found that it smudged and made my lashes immediately droop. The formula's very thick, which I'm fine with since it made my lashes look so freaking good. It would be my HG if it held a curl and was waterproof/smudgeproof. :(

I recently came into using Essence products, and this is the first Essence mascara I've tried. I give this mascara a 3/5 and this is why:Packaging - 2/5. The tube is rather large and not easy to pack travel-wise. The length of the wand is also longer than I am used to, which makes it harder to reach the lashes on the inner corner of my eyes. The bristles on the brush are also very short and firm which does allow for the product to be spread out more easily but the brush head itself is also very large. If you like larger brushes, this mascara is for you.Volume - 5/5. This mascara does give you a lot of volume. Lashes in general seem a lot more thick and dark. My lashes are medium length but very thin, and it is definitely noticeable when I am wearing this.Length - 2/5. Granted, this mascara doesn't promise extremely long lashes but regardless, it doesn't too too much for length. If you're looking to elongate your lashes, you're better off trying a different mascara. Like I said, my lashes are medium length, and this mascara just emphasizes what is already there. Lash definition - 2/5. It is possible to spread the mascara throughout your lashes but it is very difficult. The wand is so large that product can build up, and I often find myself having to wipe off excess on the mouth of the container to clear the bristles up in order to better sweep the product on my lashes.Curl hold - 2/5. The formula seems too heavy to hold any curl you might have previously prepared on your lashes with an eyelash curler. However, my lashes naturally do not hold a curl very well, so you might have better luck if your lashes are less resistant to an eyelash curler.Overall look - If you're trying to achieve that natural look, 2/5. The mascara itself is really dark and due to the fact that it can clump easily, it is very clear that you are wearing mascara.Staying power - 3/5. This mascara will not last you throughout an entire school/work day and, in my experience, will usually last for about 4 hours as long as you are not doing heavy exercise. But what I do like about this mascara is that it doesn't leave much residue (black smudging, flakes) and any that it does is easily removable without ruining your other makeup.Ease of removal - 4/5. I use a cotton pad and makeup remover on my eyes, then use my facial wash to remove the rest of my makeup. After that routine, the mascara is always gone, so there is no need for extreme scrubbing.Comfortability - 5/5. It doesn't bother me at all when I'm wearing the mascara. As with virtually all other mascaras, it does make your lashes stiffer but not in the way that is irritating. Overall, for the price of this mascara, the final look is pretty decent. Considering it is a drugstore brand, it has a nice semi-dramatic finish with a fair staying power. But I would only buy again if I needed it in a quick fix, I don't recommend this for anything more than daily wear.

The volume this mascara imparts is impressive, given it costs less than $6 in Australia. The wand has very stubby, sparse bristles, allowing it to deposit a lot of product at the roots, and coat every lash, sweeping to a lovely, plush curve. The pigmentation is a sexy, ultra black.I took one lippy off the rating because the formula is very thick and it takes some time to master the application without getting it on eyelids, and it can be accidentally applied too heavily.I was patient, and now I love it.
