I make my own setting spray with glycerin and distilled water. I mix a small amount of glycerin with water in a 1:5 ratio. I put it in a mini spray bottle and shake before each use. After applying foundation, I spray this mixture onto my face generously and let it dry for 5 mins. Afterwards, I pat the remaining droplets into my face with my blending sponge. This makes my foundation look much more like skin, less cakey, less patchy, and less oily. I replace this every week or two in fear of mould.

Y'all Rock!!Here's my modified recipe - in a week of using this after cleansing and deep wrinkle collagen treatment - using it as a topper - in 1 week i eliminated deep set brow and smile lines. In an 8oz amber spritzer bottle I put -4/6 distiller water 1/6 glycerine1/6 squalene 1/2 tsp. Vit E a few drops of colloidal silverAnd I shake it up well before I use it to help mix the oils and water. This is a Holy Grail comfort spray and makeup setter for me now.

This has become a very important step in my makeup routine. I'm not exact with my measurements but I pour a little bit of glycerin in a spray bottle and fill the rest with distilled water. This gets rid of any powderyness (I know that's not a word but I couldn't think of another way to describe it) and cakeyness. I skipped this step one day and a few hours later my makeup looked terrible. This keeps my makeup looking fresh all day.

1 part pure glycerin (You can find it in the facial care, pharmacy, cooking, or even craft stores) 3 parts Filtered water (not sure where to find that...) Something to put it in (spray bottle is the best idea I can come up with) All you do is mix 1/4 glycerin to 3/4 water inside a spray bottle and use. That would be if you have combination skin. If you have oily skin try 1/5 glycerin to 4/5 water and if you have dry skin try using 1/3 part glycerin to 2/3 parts water. If you have redness in your skin you can add 1 part rose water, that will also give it a nice rose smell. I like to put one part witch hazel in mine personally because it makes it feel less sticky. If the stickiness is still a problem for you, try just a little rubbing alcohol. Glycerin is also used in cooking, many beauty products and medicines. Its a lubricant, moisturizer, and heals burns, its also good for colds. I haven't personally tried this yet, but I am def going to! I found the recipe on Pinterest and thought someone out there just might be interested! I know I am going to give it a shot! I do know that glycerine is cheap and I have used it as a moisturer-works great!UPDATE: I made this today and love it, my skin feels moisturized, not heavy, looks dewy and refreshed. I have used it twice just because of how good it makes my face feel! I added the witch hazel to combat the stickiness of the glycerin. The proportions I used are:1 Tbsp. glycerin1 Tbsp. witch hazel4 Tbsp. spring water***Glycerin may break some skin out so use with caution!***
