Truly very long lasting. If you spill some on the counter and it dries, good luck getting it off!
I have very dry skin. If you apply to dry skin, it'll look cakey. I put a greasy sunscreen under it and it comes out perfect.

It will hide a large freckle through 2 or 3 days, even when you shower every day.

This is a go-to. You can thin it out if needed, but if you …

Love the colour i as advised to buy (Tan) and i love the long lasting effect of this foundation but i also found it very cakey as though i am wearing a mask.
I tried a blender and have used finger tips but it just looks awful. I am trying to hide some very noticeable broken veins at the side of my nose and a few on my cheeks but this just does not seem to look natural one bit.
I …

This is the go to foundation for me, and I have tried many. Having used drugstore brands before which rub off and look bad, I started using this foundation and find it is ideal for me after finding the perfect shade for my skin. I find it goes on best with a damp beauty blender and a dusting of setting powder after. I do a section of my face at a time as it does dry quite quickly. Everytime I …Read more

I ordered three samples/shades of this foundation off a reputable seller on Ebay. I'm NC15-20, very warm tones/olive/golden (just a mix, really). I don't have much to really cover up, but I tend to get shiny throughout the day, and I have melasma, which is hard to cover with regular foundation. I thought this might be a good fit for me, sheered out with a sponge.

Shade 1W1 Bone …

I received a free sample of Estee Lauder Double Wear in 1N1 Ivory Nude which matches my neck pretty well but still looks ghostly on me. I have to use a light dusting of bronzer all over and a lot blush to help not make it look so pasty and to even out my face. I currently use Lancome Teint Idole Ultra in 140 Ivory N or Merle Norman Lasting Foundation they both match perfectly and doesn't …Read more

I'll start by saying I have pretty dry skin and I wear glasses, often find that most foundations rub away from my nose where my glasses sit (expected really) and also the nose area in general.

This foundation is fricken amazing! For anyone saying it's cakey, they must not be applying it correctly! I use a damp beauty blender and only use one coat, it covers pretty much …

I don't hate it but I don't like it either. One of my kids is wearing it all the time so I have to buy it. Cakey looks are trending on these social media platforms and people are covering their faces in tons of makeup and this foundation does a good job. If you like a mask this is the right foundation for you! If you are looking for something more natural I would go with Bobbi brown …Read more

ELDW is the mother of long-lasting, medium buildable coverage foundations. It's been around for a long time and it's no surprise that it's the UK's No. 1 Foundation.

I like to apply this with a damp Beauty Blender for medium coverage and a buffing brush for fuller coverage. With a BB, I use one pump for each side of my face, bouncing and blending it in, it looks …

I used to wear this everyday in my early twenties - before the days of beauty blenders (how did we survive) and apply with my fingers - after repurchasing for a summer wedding where I needed something that was going to stick like glue all day I wonder if I spent my entire twenties looking DREADFUL. Even following 'Steph Marie's' how to apply DW without looking cakey on youtube - I …Read more

This is my favourite foundation I've used so far.

It's full coverage but isn't FULL coverage or cakey, so I feel like it give a classier look. I really like the staying power and it doesn't crease as much as a lot of other foundations.

The colour range seems good but I am pale and cool toned, so I can only speak for myself.

I can get quite oily skin …
