I had no intention at all to buy this fragrance, but the classy, black glass bottle caught my eye a few times and I had to have a sniff. I sprayed it onto the testing strip and really liked the deep, caramel tones of the perfume. But it was only after a few days when I came across the strip again in my bag that I truly fell in love with it. It's a deep, musky sweet scent, but by no means sickly. I'm not great at describing undertones at all so please don't take my word as canon, but it has a floral hint to it too beneath the rich caramel. It's just a very nice perfume which you could wear at any time, I don't really tend to allocate specific scents for certain seasons or events. It all depends on one's mood after all :D The reason I've given it four stars is that sweet scents aren't really up my street at all, and I wouldn't call it my signature scent either. But it is a very nice perfume if you're looking for a more mature, sweet scent and last really well on my skin. I really love it, and would recommend that you go smell it in store before buying it.

I'm not the best with notes, but I'd describe this as as sultry and feminine, yet also very soft and wearable. You can wear this to work and not offend anyone, and this is a pretty safe blind buy, nothing like those Thierry Mugler scents or some of the older Chanel perfumes. I can also see women of different ages wearing it. It's not teeny bopper but not old lady. This isn't something I'd buy just for the bottle, but it is pretty and has a sexy look to it imo. Also love the name of the fragrance! I'm just really into the sweeter, girly scents at the moment, like Flowerbomb.

Mmmmm this one smells delicious, and is my favorite of 'The One' series, with the exception of 'The One' for men. The first blast is a mix of the sweetness of the caramel with the tartness of the litchi and it is quite strong right from the get-go. As it wears on, the litchi fades but the caramel remains amped up, mixing with the tuberose, vanilla, and amber for a truly unique blend (I'll admit--I bought it because who doesn't love tuberose and caramel?? What a perfect pairing!!)The drydown gets less sweet and more woody as the sandalwood comes into play....the final drydown is reminiscent of really warm dryer sheets, and I'm ok with that. One spray on each wrist gets me about 4-5 hours of longevity. My skin eats scents, so I don't have a lot of sillage with this one, it's pretty close to the skin after the first hour. I do like this one a lot, I got a great deal at TJ Maxx ($59 for a giant bottle, plus lotion and shower gel) and it is a bargain at that price. I love the bottle design as well, very classy.(crosspost)

Okay, so after hating Fracas, therefore being terrified of another tuberose perfume, I decided to go ahead and give this a try because of all the other delicious ingredients; caramel, vanilla, amber. Not surprisingly, I really liked it. Bad news is, it doesn't last at all! I wore it for a week straight and didn't receive ONE compliment. And I work around nothing but men who won't hesitate to compliment my perfume. This smells very similar to Prada Candy but the staying power is just not there. Sadly, I would have loved it so much more than Prada Candy because it has a slightly powdery finish that's very soft and pleasing, but for the price, I just can't justify giving it a higher rating. Bummer.

This scent makes me so sad. It has caramel, vanilla, amber, and lychee- four of my all-time favorite perfume notes. The One Desire has all the features of scent I would adore; it is gourmand, it has a sexy black bottle, and it has decent longevity and sillage. Then tuberose belly-flops into the mix and the whole thing goes to hell in a hand basket. Tuberose is one of my least favorite notes; it smells like plastic and play-doh to my nose. Without the tuberose, this smells like a tasty vanilla-lychee bubble tea (I guess the amber and caramel pulls tapioca for me). On the flipside, if you love sexy foody scents and you also love tuberose, this is a win for you!

I found this gem for $49 at Sephora after the holidays. It came with a nude lipstick and black eye pencil. It smells sophisticated but sweet notes linger. It's lasting power is pretty great considering most fragrances fade over the day but it definitely does a better job than most. If you want the scent to be recognizable, spritz again during the day. I would definitely repurchase.

I got a deluxe sample from Sephora and fell MADLY in love with this scent, so much so that I bought a full-sized bottle for myself and my cousin.I typically hate sweet scents, but this is the perfect blend of sweet (but not sugary), fruity and flowery. The description says that it has lychee in it, which certainly explains why it smells so lovely! It's very strong (don't overdo it!) and it lasts a VERY long time on me, long enough that my mother complimented me on the scent a full 12 hours after I applied it. You really only need one spritz for the scent to be noticeable for hours, two if you want to be doubly sure that it stays all day.I think this is a very versatile scent for all ages, occasions and tastes. It's a great pick-me-up during winter, probably because it has so many of the nice scents in it that remind me of spring and summer. The only thing I didn't love was the bottle. The black, square, plain bottle is meh to me, I think they could've come up with something more unique. Also, the bottle is opaque so I can't see how much I have left. I can only shake the bottle and hope for the best.

It smells so good and lasts, it's the most long lasting perfume on me, I went on biking 3 hours with big sun, got home 12 hours later, can still smell a bit.
