I seem to keep buying this kind of pink lip gloss across all brands. Recently picked this one up at Lawton's in a sale basket. I bought it for a cosplay look but didn't end up using it for that- but now that the convention is over and I am back to real life, turns out this is a great day-look lip gloss! I found it a little pricey (6.50 CAD in the sale basket) but it feels nice, pretty pink, lightly shimmery.

I'm not a lipgloss person by any means, but I saw this at the limited edition collection stands in my local Rite Aid and I just had to have it. There was also Orange Glow and Atomic Pink as a part of the limited edition collection, but Killer Watt's warm-toned bright, almost neon, hot pink color totally caught my eye. It has no shimmer. It's not a completely unique color as there are many lipsticks that are like it (MAC Impassioned, Party Parrot, and Make Up For Ever 37, just to name a few), but it is unique to the drugstore makeup world, which is why I bought it in the first place: to find a drugstore alternative.Although the shade is spot-on, the pigmentation is lacking. For a line called "Colorburst" that's also known for its good color pay-off, I wasn't impressed. The pigmentation is probably medium at best on my medium-pigmented lips.Worn alone, it imparts a nice pop of color that would be great for a hint of pink, but I'm not one of the color-shy and I was really hoping for that neon in-your-face pink that the color in the tube shows. So I tried layering this over my Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Sweet Tart, and that [somewhat] did the trick. I had to layer on probably 6 or 7 layers of Killer Watt for it to have that neon effect, but the end result was indeed fantastic. The formula is also great. It is thick, but it's also not sticky at all and is not only not drying, but it's probably also the only lipgloss I've ever tried that felt moisturizing. It retails for $7.Would I repurchase? Not this particular shade, no, but I'd like to try other shades (especially Papaya).

Killer Watt is part of Spring 2013 le collection, "naked tips and neon lips" which also includes colorburst shades orange glow and atomic pink. Difficult shade to describe, mostly a pink pinky coral. Creme finish, no shimmer or glitter. A unique color, a beautiful color for spring & summer. I don't have anything else in my stash like it. Thats the good. The bad is its not neon, which I was expecting, its more sheer and not as opaque as it appears in the bottle, and it applies streaky. Its definatley a two dipper, one dip for each lip, to get maximum coverage. Applying over lipstick really helps bring out its full potential also. And I'm thinking in the summer with a tan it will pop even more. So, in a nut shell, great color, not so great formula requiring a little extra effort, but so gorgeous its worth it!
