This body butter is just okay. It is not super moisturizing and is not all that effective. The texture is just okay, but the ingredients list is full of things that I do not really want to apply to my body. The smell is nice, but L'Occitane has other honey products with a more authentic scent and a better ingredients list.

Completely lovely product! I bought the limited edition Honey Foaming Gel and Whipped Body Cream because they both smelled SO GOOD. In fact, it's one of my favorite honey fragrances ever. It's a very powdery, comforting honey scent and it lingers. It's sweet, but not cloying. I'd say the foaming gel is a little more pungent, actually, and a deeper scent than the body cream, which is lighter and fresher. The cream itself is actually very moisturizing, even though it has been whipped into a fluffy texture. The amount of shea butter in it makes it great for just shaved legs or massaging into hands before bed. Don't be fooled by the whipped texture though, it is a body cream, not a lotion and therefore is thick. You won't need much to moisturize your elbows or heels, but you will need to warm it up a bit, work it in and let it sink in. It's not really something I use during the summer months, but it's great for spring, fall and winter. I use this sparingly since it's limited edition, but I imagine it'll last me 6-8 months. One warning, though, it does not play well with other products and has a tendency to ball up if you haven't exfoliated in awhile. Overall, though, love it!

The main ingredients in this whipped cream is honey and 10% shea butter, both are known as a great moisturizer for dry skin. I like the texture, light airy whipped cream, you can se its pore in the jar. When applied on the skin, it goes on smoothly without oily or sticky feeling, my skin just soaks that right in. A little melts a long way. I think this will last on me for quiet a while. The scent is strange, like a honey mixed with burned caramel! It is weird but not linger on my skin. It doesn’t bother me at all.I think I might have to stock up on this product since it is limited edition. It is expensive but totally worth it.

Lovely body cream! It contains 10% Shea Butter, that may seem a little but it moisturizes my dry/sensitive skin like a dream! Smells delicious and the texture is superb! It looks like a meringue on the tin but melts like a silky body cream on the skin. The price is on the expensive side but I think it's worth it, also it's limited so I may have to stock up!
