I bought this foundation because of the reviews below.

For a start, I am 30 and my skin is combination to dry (used to be combination to oily but due to nature of my work flying around and age, my skin just gets drier).

First, I apply Shiseido's tinted gel cream after my skincare, and then this all over my face. Just half a pea size amount, spread it thinly all over two of my fingers and apply onto my face in streaks before blending them all using my fingers. The coverage is medium to high I would say, and I do not need to apply my concealer under my eyes nor over the occasional redness from pimples etc.

I have also tried applying this using a damp Real Techniques' sponge instead of fingers and the coverage seemed more towards light to medium as well as more 'glowy'. I set this foundation with Innisfree sebum mineral powder on my t-zone and undereye and this lasts for close to 8 hours for me without touchups needed. On the other hand, when I apply Charlotte Tilbury's airbrush flawless finish powder to set this, I get oily after 2-3 hours of wear. So I supposed the powder really affects the finish of this foundation.

I supposed the packaging is light due to the fact it's plastic, but it kinda feels cheap and the fact that we can't really see how much stuff is left makes this a 4 for me.

This has become my go to foundation. It’s creamy and gives a medium to full coverage on my 53 year old skin without any caking. I do apply it sparingly and usually over primer. There’s definitely a glow and it’s long lasting too. What I love is that it is dewy but not shiney. I find I barely need under eye concealer with this. I’m NW25 and B40 is just about right for me. I sometimes need to darken it slightly and use a drop Dr Hauska (sp?) liquid mixed in with it to achieve this.
I find this applies best with fingers.
Looking at the reviews, this seems to be more appreciated the older the reviewer. I’d say it’s worth the investment for anyone who is finding their old liquid foundation isn’t quite cutting it anymore but doesn’t want cakey high coverage.

I’m a MAC NW 15-20 and the B20 shade is a great match. I find the color stays true and doesn’t oxidize darker on me with wear.

I really, really like this foundation. It comes in a pump, is creamy and applies nicely with a brush. The coverage is a high medium and definitely provides luminosity. It’s a healthy look but not as natural looking as foundations with a more sheer or medium coverage. It definitely does provide a long lasting glow.

So with the great review thus far, why only a 4 star rating? For me, this foundation stays a bit tacky. I guess it’s better to keep the moisture and the glow but I’m not crazy about the tackiness. I’ll try it with a couple of other primers to see if that helps. I could add some setting powder but then that defeats the whole point of having luminosity. This might be my perfect foundation if only it wasn’t sticky to the touch.

I’ll update this review after I’ve played with the foundation a bit more.

Update: this works much better and dries down with no stickiness when I use a different primer. I’d still rate it a 4. This is an good higher coverage foundation if that’s what you are looking for.

I blind bought this from Strawberrynet so hadnt swatched or seen shades. I got WB40 warm beige even though i am cool toned as it was 70% off I think! Gorgeous foundation, Id go so far as to say best Ive ever used and thats a helluva lot! It was a fantastic shade for me so they must be leaning towards pinkish....which I personally like. Of course you should try before buying to get shade match. The finish is not at all greasy but dewy looking coverage excellent for my broken veins, redness etc. Paula Begoin of Paulas Choice dismissed this as it contains a small % of lavender oil. I realise this is not ideal but it is an amazing foundation and is my new HOLY GRAIL. Shiseido please omit the lavender oil!

I very like this foundation. I'm in the shade I40. I have normal to dry skin with some flaw and this foundation give me high medium coverage. Nice glow not oily as the name said radiant. This last on me all work day and it fade beautifully throughout the day not patchy at all on my skin. I apply this foundation with damp beauty blender I don't like to apply any foundation with brushes it leave streak marks. This foundation doesn't oxidize on me. I bought this at Shiseido store for $45 before tax. Great foundation.
Update 01/30/18; I low down 1 star for color selection. It good foundation but only winter month or dry skin type all year round and who need full coverage. I never get good match with any of Shiseido foundation. I hope Shiseido will give more range for colors in all there foundation line.

This is a light buildable to medium coverage foundation. Good for dry skin. It's a cream foundation so it's a bit thicker and heavier in texture. I have dry skin however I found the texture to be a bit too thick for my liking. It is however easy to apply with a foundation brush. Staying power isn't that great, starts to slip and slide at 4 hours. The shade I got O20 is a bit too light, it's more for nc 15. I'm nc20. $76 AUD.

I'm about to run out of this, so I decided to consider trying something new...briefly. I started reading reviews about other foundations and was quickly reminded how much I love this one. I was also reminded what a pain in the butt it is trying to find a really good foundation. I went through a lot of them in the process of finding this one. I have very fair skin, and there is a shade that works for me. I also like the texture--smooth, but not greasy. Easy to apply and work with.
I usually choose to do a light application--but you can add more if needed. I find this foundation provides a nice "polished" look. It's not Shiseido's most "natural" looking foundation--for a really natural look, I recommend their "Sheer and Perfect" Foundation.
Back to the Radiant Lifting foundation--it looks good on my skin and doesn't cause break-outs--which is excellent! I wore this all winter in our very cold climate, and it wore well. I am still using it in the summer--but a lighter application. I find this foundation works really well over Shiseido sunscreen, which I also wear religiously.
I love that this foundation comes in a pump, and you can easily see how much product you have left, so you know when you are about to run out. I get very annoyed by packaging that gives you no idea how much is remaining and then all of a sudden you have nothing left. Not a problem with this foundation. I am about to run out, so I will be re-purchasing. :)

I wasn't looking to buy this foundation but the Shiseido SA pushed me into it. I have to say, this is the BEST foundation I have ever used. #1 is saying a lot since I've used numerous high end foundations such as Chanel, Dior, other Shiseido foundations, Becca, Estee Lauder, MUFE, It Cosmetics, Clarins, YSL etc. I was looking to buy the new Shiseido Synchro Skin foundation but after discussing my needs with the SA, she recommended the Radiant Lifting instead. She said the Radiant Lifting has skincare in it and it's full coverage yet gives a luminous finish. According to the brand, this foundation is geared for mature dry skin so I was a bit reluctant to buy it. I'm so glad I took the risk and bought it anyway.

Finish: This surprisingly does give the perfect amount of radiance without looking greasy. The radiance stays true after hours of wear. It looks exactly the same hours after application. Being oily skinned, it's almost impossible to prevent foundations from oxidizing. However, this foundation stays true to color the entire time I wear this.

Lasting Power: Amazing! For being considered a foundation for dry skin, I'm delighted that this also works on my oily skin. My oils don't break through half way through the day like it does with other comparable dewy foundations like NARS Sheer Glow and YSL Teint Touche Elcat.

Coverage: One layer is a solid medium cover. I feel two layers does give full coverage. I'm someone with some facial flaws and this foundation covered them nicely.

Shade: I'm medium olive skinned and wear 060 in this foundation.

Skin Reactions: None

Note: I paired this foundation with Too Faced Hangover primer and used It Cosmetics for Ulta Airbrush Blurring Foundation brush and got amazing results. Results may vary with other primers and or application techniques.

Why is this so thick? It's nice and moisturising, at least, and has decent coverage. But it's so oily and thick it just slips off my face when I apply it in the morning. It goes patchy over dry skin and disappears on oily. Not good for people who don't have perfect skin, or simply "mature" skin. I like using anti-aging products for the moisturising formulas and heightened coverage usually, (obviously you can't not age lol) but this just didn't work for me at all.

I have been using this 2 years now and this is amazing, one of my favorite foundations especially for winter. I decided to re-review this since its been awhile.

I have non problematic yet dry skin. This is very creamy, blends seamlessly, and does a great job at coverage so all that together I need only about a pea size for my whole face and ill use a tiny bit more if needed to touch up. This is hydrating and very comfortable to wear on my face even throughout the whole day and I hardly need to touch up. The finish is a satin-dewy finish, depending on how much oil or moisturizer I put underneath but alone this is mostly a satin finish. It does have a SPF. In MAC I am NC40-42(40 for winter and 42 for sunnier days) for this foundation I wear the darkest shade in the yellow(Ocher) shades which is O80 for the Radiant Lifting which matches me perfectly in winter/at my lightest. This matches me only in the winter, and in summer I just use this for my undereyes/cheeks for a subtle highlighting effect. I like to use the Shiseido foundation brush with this or my brandless cheap foundation brush made for creams but more often I use my hands. Comes in chic yet simple packaging with a convenient pump.

I have gotten so many compliments wearing this. This foundation is gorgeous and very natural. Doesn't cling to dry spots and last the whole day. I have only a small amount left in my bottle but it has lasted me so long! In the end I would buy this again. There are not many long wearing, not matte, satin-dewy, foundations for dry skin and this is one of the best. Underrated product!
