Both Halloween & Halloween Fever, though they have few fragrance notes in common, are very similar scents. Whereas Halloween is more of an breezy floriental with notes of tuberose, violet, green banana, lime, black pepper, incense and, among other notes, a fresh ozonic accord called "Seas of Alaska"; Fever is a vivid and opulent fruity-floral with the more traditional fragrance notes of bergamot, apricot, orange, ylang-ylang, rose, lotus, jasmine, musk, tonka, patchouli & vanilla.I suspect that Fever most have an unlisted ozonic accord, as well as a unlisted note of spice. These two elements would certainly go a long way in explaining the otherwise unaccountable similarity in the overall actual smell of the two fragrances.I love both Halloween as well as Halloween Fever. Halloween Fever, however, is a bit of a warm fragrance, and seems better suited to cooler weather.

A touch of violet and rose on first application, really soft and pretty. A little green peppery spiciness ramps it up a touch and a sweet, slightly powdery muskiness comes out as it begins to dry down. Even though it's very light, it still has a lovely, fresh and unobtrusive sillage. Not one of my absolute favourites, but I like it and it's an easy, every day sort of scent.
