Beautiful deep blood red is all I can describe this as. It's very rich and opaque in two coats. It's so pretty and classy. This is very flattering on my cool skin tone. I believe this is neutral leaning cool red.Always looks very classy and elegant on my hands and the formula is like a dream. It applies itself and never gets thick or thin. Smooth and shiny and always stays on for a week.

Name: I guess this is named after my favourite film star of all times: "Rekha", who made an everlasting impact on anyone who ever saw her in the original 1981 Umrao Jaan movie. Colour: Deep, true, undiluted, unmuted, no cloudiness, neutral red. It's so flattering on my pale, yellow skin tone with pinkish fingertips. It's the Red to end all Reds as far as I'm concerned. No trace of brown, purple, pink or orange overtones. Deep, rather than bright, pure Blood Red. I imagine it would suit any skin tone, depending on the look you want to achieve. I'd say it's a medium red close to the border of dark. Depending on how you wear it it could look vampy or just classic. Application: Two or three (depending on how careful I am), very easy, coats gives me perfect cover, no vnl and an even finish. I find the brush easy to operate on my small nails.Good, short drying time considering the thickish (for Zoya) consistency. Wear: Good wear as always with the Zoyas I've tried. (I always use base and top coat and have natural nails). Overall: I keep double backups of this. It's not only my No1 Red, it's my No1 Polish. I do love the funky glitters from indie companies like e.g. Femme Fatale and Emelie de Molly or a spectacular holo rainbow, but I could never ever be without a perfect, timeless, red creme like this one. So happy I found this, I never need to look for that perfect red creme again. I thought that search would never end, that the perfect red in both colour and formula just wasn't made yet and perhaps never would be. Plus: I adore the bottle design also, so pure and timeless it really brings out the beauty of the polish inside.

This is a gorgeous deep medium red. I want to say it's a true red, but I have a hard time telling the difference b/t true and cool sometimes. The consistency is almost like a crelly (more opaque than WnW I Red A Good Book) and I had a bit of a hard time getting this even. The more you apply the deeper the color looks, so when the layers are uneven or vary on different fingers it is very noticable. I would say 3 coats to get it even and opaque, but when I'm lazy or in a hurry I'll make due with 2. It wears well with a proper base&top coat; I can go 4-5 with zero to minimal chipping but will have enough tip wear to make me want to remove it. I also found that without a top coat it didn't look shiny enough. For now (winter-time) it is my favorite red and I can see it working year round, but my taste in red changes depending on the time of year.

I've never heard of this name before, but it's a gorgeous red from what I think is a NYFW collection. It was created for Bibhu Mohapatra for his fall 2012 runway show, inspired by his mother's red nail polish. I went to the store and was browsing around with no intention of getting another red, but this one looks like a staple that will always be in style. It's not too cool or warm toned that I can tell, and someone said it almost has a shine/finish of the jelly polishes, but I've never used those. It goes on nicely opaque in two coats and is shiny like all my other Zoya polishes. I think it's a step up from Essie Fishnet Stockings.
