This was a gift from my mum and I was kinda skeptical of it at first. But I decided to still give it a try. The gentle vibrations feels quite comfortable actually and I noticed that once the serums / creams were absorbed into the skin, the device will not "activate easily" (the device only switches on when you touch the metal piece on the body & glide the metal head along your skin - how smart!). This is also the signal to me usually that I can stop using the device. After about a week into using it, already my skin is noticeably smoother and my pores smaller. I'm so glad my mum gave it to me!

This booster helps the skin absorb products. If your skin already does this on its own, then you don't need the booster. I bought it because I was tired of being stuck with expensive creams that do nothing but sit onto of my skin. When I run the booster along my face, ANY cream, oil or serum will disappear into it. I don't know if using it regularly somehow "conditions" the skin to absorb products better because after a few months of diligent use (twice daily), I find that my skin is able to absorb most creams without it. I do still reach for it when I want to add a product to my usual routine for a little extra TLC (I use it with an oily serum like Philosophy's Omega 3.6.9. or Elizabeth Arden's Ceramide capsules). I run my booster over it and it's gone! The surface is small (about the size of a nickel smooshed into an oval). That means it'll take a minute or two to do your whole face. Make sure you keep moving along the sections that has cream on it or it will tug if your skin has already absorbed the cream and is dry as a result.
