I saw the Midnight Emergency Kit, at a Sale price on the UD website, last Winter. Before I placed my order, I sent the link to my sister to see if she wanted one too. She saw it and said yessss! We both tend to wear mostly natural looking makeup for every day, but we do like items that are unique and not so plain. This kit fit the bill perfectly!

I sent my sister hers, as part of her Christmas gifts, and before I even used mine, she called me to let me know how much she loves everything in this kit, especially the lip gloss. I eventually started using mine, and I can say that everything in this kit suits me just fine. I use the UD eye shadow base, before I use any eye shadow so, these stay on my perfectly. I like the fact that I can use the more natural shades of this kit for every day looks, and I can add the gorgeous purple one, if I want to do a more smokey, intense eye. I love the lip gloss. The scent of it reminds me of mint cookies, and it can last on my lips for hours with no touch ups. Both my sister and I keep the lip gloss in our purses, and use the rest of the kit at home so, the packaging is fine for us. I like having all of the shadows, and the brush in my drawer at the ready, when I need it.

If UD continued to make this kit, I would most definitely re-purchase it, for both my sister and I!

Found this product on Amazon for around $20. What a steal! It arrived in the mail today and I immediately started swatching the shades, and WOW!! Sooo beautiful. The main reason I bought this palette was because I already own 10 UD palettes, and none of them have any midnight shades in them! Which is pretty crazy to me... because Midnight Cowboy is a very popular shade. But anyway, I have been longing for some midnight shades (Midnight Cowgirl is gorgeous as well) and I happened to stumble across this palette. I only wish I could find the Cowboy Junkie palette, as it has all the shades I really want. But this one will do. All the shades are beautiful, pigmented, and go well together. I agree with what other users said before me, this palette will go wonderfully with my Naked palettes, and I can't wait to experiment and create tons of looks. Also, I was thrilled about receiving a full sized Midnight Cowboy Lip Junkie with this palette, because I received it in the mini size with my 2013 Fun palette, and I LOVE it! It's super sheer and neutral - will go with anything. A few of their other amazing shades are Naked, Wallflower, and Runaway. Love love love!!!

This palette is one of my favorites! I love the eyeshadow colors and the packaging, and I think it's great that there's a lip gloss and eyeshadow brush included. The eyeshadow shades are all very neutral, even the purple which goes on very sheer. It is a bit expensive but definitely worth it.

This is one of my favorite eye shadow palettes to reach for. However, I like to use it I'm synch with my Naked palette since I like to pair the glittery shades with a matte crease.

Packaging: I like the sturdy zippered package because it doesn't open up while traveling. The included mirror is just big enough to do your eye shadow in, and the palette is small enough to hold in one hand while you do so.

Midnight Cowboy: a shimmery pinky champagne similar to UD Sin with flecks of glitter.

Midnight 15: a cool taupe champagne with finer glitter.

Midnight Rodeo: a light brown with taupe undertones and flecks of glitter.

AC/DC: a glowing light shimmery purple

These colors make a gorgeous neutral eye with an extra oomph, but you have to love glitter to love this palette. All in all, I think that this perfect palette to go hand in hand with the Naked palette, but alone it's missing some much needed matte browns for the crease and a matte vanilla shadow to highlight. The gloss it came with is nice, moisturizing, and not sticky. This was a great deal for me at $22 from Nordstrom Rack and I would re purchase it if I ever needed to.

Great mini palette if you love neutral eyeshadows and glitter, as the previous reviewer mentioned. The packaging is cute and it was only 20$ at nordstrom rack. The eyeshadow is more glittery than I expected, but I still love it. Its very blendable, there is minimal fallout of glitter, and the lipgloss is sheer and minty. The brush that came with it is nice as well.

This product is far from new so I hesitated to start a review thread, but I decided to for those debating whether or not to purchase (as of now it is still on sale on the UD website). If you love glitter and neutrals (in that order) this palette is for you. 3 of the 4 shades contain glitter, the only non-glitter shade being the purple one. I bought this not knowing it was UDs new shadow reformulation, but immediately noticed the decreased fallout. When I tested the new Midnight Cowboy against my old one, the fallout is still there but greatly decreased and more managable. (Glitter tip: after applying shadow to the brush, lightly tap the brush a couple times before applying to lid, this will help alot to remove excess glitter.) The shadow reformulation is also much smoother and with primer underneath stays vibrant longer. All the colors in this palette are beautiful and AC/DC is one of the prettiest purples I've ever used. UD has a video tutorial of how to apply these shades that's awesome. This also comes with a full-sized Lip Junkie lipgloss in Midnight Cowboy. I'd never tried the Lip Junkie glosses before. Not very sticky and I like the moisturizing consistency. They have a VERY strong mint smell (when I first unzipped this palette, I could smell the mint before I'd even touched the lipgloss or knew it was supposed to have a scent!). The color itself isn't very pigmented at all, practically clear with lots of rainbow sparkle. I think it looks best layered over a lipstick. If you'd like a similar lipgloss but with more pigment Stila Kitten is pretty close. The included brush is great (so nice to get a palette brush that's good quality for a change!) Best of all it's synthetic which makes it perfect for use with glittery shades. The packaging is gorgeous, contains a mirror, and I love the zipper closure (very secure). No way this would fit into a clutch, but if you carry medium to large sized bag this would fit no problem (and it's lightweight too). I'm wondering if when I've finished the palette I could remove the cardboard part and use the pouch for something else? Hm, since this is the only review I've tried to add everything I could think of... So, if you're on the fence about this I'd recommend getting it, at the current sale price of $22 it's a GREAT value for lots of high quality product.
