Super-pretty blue glitter top coat from Essie's LuxEffects. It's a mix of hex and fine glitters suspended in a clear base. Excellent formula, very easy to work with and distribute the glitter. And the shade is a lovely medium blue with a bit of silveriness to it. This polish a near-exact dupe of Sephora By OPI's Indi-Go With the Flow, if you already own one of these you probably don't need both.I love glitter top coats and I think Essie's are among the best. Removal is a snap as long as you use acetone. Love this one. Recommended!

This bottle contains a bunch of different sized glitter. Kind of a silverish, blueish colour. The polish aligns nicely to the nail even when using several coats. It is possible to get it completely opaque with enough coats. This polish looks great over any other colour and can be used as a glitter gradient. After applying OPI's Matte Top Coat the flecks became even more detailed and looks fantastic. I bought this on sale (~70% off) and would probably not buy it on full price (~20 USD in my country).

I just love the Essie Luxeffects glitter polishes. When I first saw this in the store I fell in love with it instantly. Sadly I didn't have money to get it then, and when I went back, they only had Set in Stones, so I got Set in Stones first. Eventually, I did get Stroke of Brilliance, and I can say that I'm really happy with it. This polish has about 4-5 different sizes of hexagonal silver purple blue glitter in it, and like Set in Stones, it is a different formula from the regular polish. It is a bit thicker, and it is self leveling so it ends up flat on your nails. With little effort, one can make a gradient or apply it freehand to only certain parts of one's nails. It's also a bit more subdued than Set in Stones which is really bright silver. I also really love the color. It goes well with many different colors. Another thing I love is using a matte top coat with it. It's perfect for a really pretty frosty look for a snowy day. Sometimes, I do one part of my nail with this and the other part with Set in Stones. They are really pretty together! This polish, like Set in Stones lasts a long time, and as a plus, the bottles look so pretty and sparkly sitting on your shelf.

Gorgeous polish to experiment with. Looks great on top of black, navy blue, and white. It's kind of goopy and takes a while to dry, but the staying power is great.

I got this in a little box set with a very shimmery solid blue color called "Fair Game" and a base coat called "First Base Coat". I used all three together (one coat of base, two coats of color, two coats of "Stroke of Brilliance" glitter topcoat, and then later two coats of regular topcoat to smooth out the edges of the glitter chunks). The manicure has lasted 6 days now without chipping or peeling off, probably thanks to the glitter. I love glitter topcoats because the formula has to be thick and solid for the glitter to stay in. Of course that makes them a pain to remove when you finally want to.This is a beautiful blue glitter with three different sizes of sparkles in it, suspended in a crystal clear polish. It could be used as a top coat over any matching or complimentary color. Using it over a metallic blue color like "Fair Game", like I did, makes for the illusion that your nails are entirely covered in the sparkle, while other colors will have a flaky blue sparkle accent on top. It did take two coats of the glitter to get a fairly even, sparkly distribution. The box set recommended one coat, but I found that one did not leave very much glitter behind. I live this glitter. I have a similar chunky gold polish with three sizes of flakes from Sally Hansen and use it all the time. The blue color here is not too bright like a royal blue, it's a medium marine blue that is more subtle on the side of stone or slate blue. The "Fair Game" it came with is definitely an even less-bright stone blue with a slightly warm toned shimmer, making it feel very neutral and not at all conflicting with my earth tones wardrobe. They both look amazing together and I would recommend both.

I love this polish! The color is so pretty. It is like a periwinkle glitter. It's a companion shade of Lapiz of Luxury, only darker. I put it on top of Loreal's Stroke of Midnight and it looks beautiful.
