I really really wanted to love this product based on the reviews and how much I loved the mandelic acid peel. Unfortunately, this was a bust for me.. The wash does not lather, even just a tiny bit. It didn't feel like it was cleaning my face. I always had to wash my face with other soap before/after using this to make sure everything was clean. Maybe that is not the function of this face wash, but I believe a good wash should be able to clean and help improve your skin. Just like everything, it is probably dependent on the person using it, their genetics, hormones, environmental factors etc.. And this just didnt work for me.
I still have 70% of the bottle which will most likely go into the trash

I honestly, don't know why there aren't more reviews on this cleanser. I am a serious cleanser..ho..!!!!LOL!!! for me this has it all, it cleans, it seems to firm, and cleans out my pores as nothing else does..you only need a teeny, tiny bit to clean your face.and after it dries..my face feels like silk...I had been using the other gel cleanser which I like..but for me, this blows that out of the water..Since, it seems that every thing I love..is discontinued..I am considering buying this stuff by the crate load..kidding!! maybe not!!To give you an idea how old I am..when they discontinued the original Helena Rubinstein metal wand mascara ,I called Mala Rubinstein(her niece) and begged to buy as many as I could..(didn't work!!) Soooooo...do NOT ever discontinue this!!!

This cleaner is great before a peel it really deep cleans. No breakouts. I would buy the full size no doubt if it weren't so expensive.

This is hands down, my favourite cleanser. It's gentle; it makes my skin feel smooth. I can use it after chemical peels (though I usually reach for my Cetephil cleanser). It feels luxurious on the skin.

It makes my skin look refreshed. I tend to mix this one up with MUAC Lighten/Brighten cleanser for PIH management.

What is DMAE? According to MUAC: DMAE is an amazing nutrient that extends the life of cells, inhibits the cross linking of proteins, which gives the skin a tone and firm appearance. This cleanser uses nutrients found in bodies of water to enhance the DMAE. This cleanser is great for consumers concerned with the effects of aging. The mud in this cleanser helps to pull toxins out of the skin and wash them away. DMAE can cause a tingling sensation.
This is a mud colored viscous foaming gel cleanser. Appropriate for acneic, mature, oily, normal and combination skin.
Shake well before using as ingredients can separate.
What it did for me: Well, I received this as a free sample with a recent MUAC purchase. Not knowing exactly what it was or the ingredients, I used it for 2 weeks. My skin is looking very nice lately and I can thank MUAC for that. This cleanser is perfect for me and my concerns. I feel this cleanser does an excellent job pulling out toxins and leaving my face clean and clear. I didn't notice any tingling sensation w/ this. This doesn't lather which takes time to get used to. I find that shaking the bottle is recommended as some properties settle to the bottom. I have reactive skin and a lot of cleansers can strip it and cause breakouts. I have no neative effects from using this.

I had received this face wash a bunch of times from orders I had made. Well, after using it I just loved it and ordered the full size. It has clays french green and pink and I think that's how it pulls the gunk out of my skin. It also is supposed to help firm the skin with DMAE and it really does! I'm 34 so I don't have much sagging but after washing with this my skin was so firm. That is something I never get, tight over stripped yes, but this is different. It cleanses so well but doesn't strip and my skin just feels firm and youthful. I couldn't get over it because I didn't think things like that are possible.

I use this 2x's a day with the Mandelic peels, mandelic serum, and blemish buster toner with it. My skin has never been better the small hormonal spots on my jaw area are gone! My pores are so small and I have no breakouts even my monthly ones were minimal and went away very fast. I'm glad I finally purchased the full size because you only need the smallest amount and it cleans so well. It works very well on my skin which is combo and acne prone. More hormonal breakouts is what I deal with. This helps keep my skin clear and works on spots that are already there. I love how it really firms my skin this face wash just feels so good. I'm very happy with this and pretty much most of Muac's products they have helped me get my skin back.:) Recommended!
