Naked Bisque was my color. It shines through with pinkish undertone but it somewhat looks fine on me. The biggest problem is building up. It seems to dry up into semi powder finish that is appear obviously dry and god forbid you attempt to build the product up! The dry skin will just get so much more accentuated! However! If you will manage to lay the first layer nicely, you most likely won't need a second one.

All in all: so so. Since it's Tom Ford I was expecting something more, and It is sad to admit that it wasn't :(

I got this in the color Bisque which is a pretty, matte ivory/nude shade with pink undertones. It covers less than a true concealer and illuminates less than Tom's other 'illuminating' products (which I also reviewed if you're interested). The tube is a convenient, portable purse/travel sized item which I definitely like. The texture is great. It goes on very easily, smoothly, evenly and invisibly. The coverage is light to moderate with no shimmer so I'd say it's kind of a hybrid between a light concealer and a matte highlighter. This is a great product for when you're out and about for easy, quick touch ups. But if you're looking for a lot of sheen or major coverage, this is not it.

I don't know about the rest of the shades they have, but the one I got is in 01 Citrine, and it works great with a tan during the summer for an additional glow. I apply this in very small amounts on top of my foundation, on my cheeks, around my brows and lip areas. Has a lovely illuminating effect. I prefer it over YSL touche éclat by far, because this one is sheer and lighter over your make up.

For $52 and from Tom Ford I really expected this to be a great product. But alas, I was wrong. I tried it at the counter and under the lights in the store it seemed like it would work great, or at least the tube at the counter did. When I got this home and started to play with it, I was thinking "there's no way this is the product she handed me. No way." This, like that Touche Eclat and the similar products, is NOT a concealer, nor does it "illuminate" anything! I used it now four days straight, in layers, with other products, on it's own...and today I presently have 11 coats of this on. ELEVEN, and I look like I have nothing on. Nothing lighter, nothing covered. So either I was given the wrong item, or the item they have on the counter is somehow more pigmented and useful than this particular item. It doesn't seem to stay on or dry down either, with powder setting it or not.

It's definitely a bust, and for this price point that's frankly unacceptable.
