I got this in N1-2. I like the finish and the coverage. I used to wear the famous Armani Luminous Silk and I feel this foundation is comparable. After wearing this for a while I felt the color was a bit too light. I had a Maybelline liquid mousse foundation that was a bit dark and I've been mixing the two to get the right color. When it comes time to replace I'll have to maybe try the next darker color or mix two colors again.

I wish I could give this a 3.5 I think it would be a fair score. I have combination sensitive skin and this foundation is a real drugstore find. It's cheap, it doesn't break me out, and my t- zone can handle this (+setting powder and spray). Here comes the but, when I initially tested it I thought the color suited my leaning more yellow nc20 skin pretty well. The more I use it the more confused I get, I'm not sure if it's how I apply it or if I sometimes don't shake it enough? Some days it is so warm on my skin. That and when applying it does try to pile up on the edges a bit so you really have to make sure you blend it all completely out. Any spots under your chin you may have missed could end up looking a bit strange. But if making sure I really blend my entire face and neck is all I have to deal with to spend less than $30 on a foundation, I call this a happy medium.

I love love love this foundation. I'm more than impressed. It's more on the pricey side which is its down low but I love it. Dewy, beautiful on the skin, a pump, blends pretty nicely, it had medium coverage but it's definitely buildable :) I swear by it.

Skin: Acne-prone, Fair-Medium, Not Sure
I'm currently using this. I have combo/dry acne prone skin. This foundation is good at not drying out my skin and doesn't cling to dry patches, but the longevity of it is a little disappointing. Even with a setting spray im lucky if this lasts a school day. It's a little on the high end price wise for a drugstore foundation. Coverage is about medium, and does give you a very glowy look!

One of the nicest drugstore foundations out there! Very similar to the True Match Lumi Cushion (as you'd expect it to be), I think that's all the cushion version is, this product soaked into a cushion compact, both are fantastic. As the name suggests, this foundation gives your skin a very healthy luminous glow and if you happen to have oily skin don't shy away from this. Oily skin prepped with a mattifying moisturizer and good primer will wear this well, might have to set with a powder but it is worth the effort. Normal to dry skin will really enjoy this formula. It feels moisturizing and comfortable on the skin, although I still use a moisturizer and hydrating primer to ensure product doesn't settle into pores or accentuate any dry areas.Coverage is light/medium but can be built up if you desire. Personally I like one coat, just to even out my skin tone without completely hiding everything as I prefer a more natural finish. I did not experience any transferring of the product throughout the day and my skin kept that healthy luminosity the entire time I wore the foundation. Blush applied smoothly over top and did not fade over time. Texture is a very creamy liquid, medium consistency, no scent detected either. Happy to say that luminous is not synonymous with glitter or sparkles, rather it truly results in a healthy glow. 1 fluid ounce of foundation comes in a sturdy glass bottle with a pump dispenser, and a lot of shades to choose from. All in all, this is a solid foundation and while it is a bit pricier than other drugstore foundations I think it's worth it. Definitely a more affordable option if you are comparing this to their lumi cushion product which is .5 fl oz and costs more too. Don't get me wrong, I really like the cushion, it's only the price that bothers me.

With much regret, this didn't work for me because of my super oily skin. I used a primer too but still melted on my nose and parts of my cheeks. If you have dry skin, this should work for you. It is shame that majority of good foundations with benefits melt on oily skin gals. The shade was perfect. The texture was dreamy. Oh well!

This foundation is a really good option if you have dry or dehydrated skin. It has a light liquid texture that provides medium coverage. If you have oily skin, you will have to blot mid-day because you do get a bit shiny. However, I prefer dewier foundations as opposed to those that dry your face out and emphasize lines/flakes/pores.Here's a tip for those who are in-between colors: I tried 2 shades: N1-2 and N3. N1-2 is too light for me but N3 is too dark for me. I mixed the two shades and voila, my perfect shade match.Sometimes, when I want a thicker texture, I mix in a bit of my primer too.If you tried the original True Match Foundation and found it not to be as hydrating as you would like, give True Match Lumi a try.

This is definitely a dupe of GA's Luminous Silk Foundation. They perform very similarly, which makes sense since GA Beauty is owned by L'Oreal. The difference is that on initial swatch, it looks lighter and sets slightly darker, so it's a bit difficult to tell which is the right match. Another difference is the immediate finish - this foundation is dewier than its GA counterpart, but upon side by side comparison, they both get to the same level of dewiness after about 3-4 hours. Luckily for me, I picked the right shade, W3, which is the EXACT MATCH for GA's shade 5.75 in Luminous Silk. I'm not kidding, same exact shade side by side, swatched, set after a few minutes. For reference, I'm between NC25-30, where NC25 is slightly too light and NC30 is slightly too dark/orange. Since this foundation is light in coverage, it's very forgiving. Lasting power is ok - like all foundations of this type, it starts breaking up on my nose area after a few hours. But for the most part, it looks pretty good. It's currently fall season, so my skin (and the air) is a little on the drier side, so this works really well. This will definitely not work in the summer, as I get very greasy very easily in hot climates. It is perfect for fall/winter and I'm loving it. Bottom line, if you like GA's Luminous Silk, you would like this one as well.
