These lipsticks are silicone based with a creamy, demi matte finish. They are more pigmented and last longer than the L'absolu lipsticks which are oil based. It leaves a stain behind after the colour wears off. Application is easy, it glides on with ease and doesn't settle into my lines. Very comfortable to wear throughout the day. Packaging is really cute, Lancôme really do make the best lipsticks and packaging. I think Lancôme is quite an underrated brand. It's quite expensive which is why no one really talks about it but it's definitely worth the price.

I got this in the shade 240M which is a nude pink brown with slight berry undertones. It's an okay shade. I won't be repurchasing because I find the other shades are way too bright and clownish to be honest. Would like to see more lighter wearable nude colours. I paid $49 AUD and contains 3.4g.

Update: Picked up more shades. 232m which is a bright pink nude, perfect for work and evenings. And 200b, which is my favourite, a brown pink nude. I'm not a fan of brown undertones in lipsticks, but this has the perfect amount of pink and brown. The texture of these lipsticks are really nice, better than the l'absolue lipsticks.

These are becoming my favourite lipsticks, beating out Lancôme l'absolue rouge. Definitely buying a backup of 200b and 232m.

The single best lipstick I have ever tried!
Also the lipstick that has earned me the most compliments.

I have this lipstick in 170N, which is a true/bright neutral red. I either use it as a full swipe, which gives a complete coverage, or as a sheer flush by rubbing it in with a lip balm. Either ways it stays put and looks good all day. I don't find it drying, and I don't think it enhances any imperfections as long as the lips are in ok condition.

I have worn it through italian pasta and christmas dinners (which is the binge fest of the year where I come from). I don't know how, but it has never feathered, bled or got an worn look.

It benefits from being blotted and applied in two layers in regards of staying power, even if it looks opaque in one layer. It simply keeps the complete opaqueness better that way. I have never needed a lip liner with this.

The lipstick and packaging looks gorgeous. Its a brushed silver, with a seam on the backside, title on the front and brand on the base. On the top of the cap the Lancome rose is etched. The same logo can be found in red on the inside of the cap and on the side of the actual bullet. All the details look well made. The luxurious feel is enhanced by the heaviness and the sound it makes when closed. It is clear to me that a large amount of effort was put into the packaging.

The only downside of it is the actual price of it. It -is- expensive. But given the staying power, the quality and effortlessness of it, and that it can be worn well in different ways makes it absolutely worth it. This is one of those lipsticks that you could have as your only lipstick and be happy. If I ever run out, Lancome better be still selling it :P

Me extremely pale neutral, right in the middle of warm neutral and cool neutral.

Corail in love

How well it lasted:
Beautiful, glossy formula, which does feel light on the lips but creamy and moisturising, I have dry lips and usually only wear lip balm. I drank copious cups of tea and the lipstick remained, some gloss gone but a warm lustre remained. I had applied it straight from the bullet, no lip brush, nothing that refined but it stuck to my lips till bedtime, through eating a meal too and there was the remnants on my lips 8 hours later. Eight hours later, much of the pigment had gone but there was still the imprint of colour and it still defined my mouth softly.

A fresh and brightening pink coral. It is a little bright against my unusually pale skin, but not blaring or too much, it enlivens my complexion though I need a touch of it on my cheeks or suitable blusher with it, couldn't wear it alone. It also made my natural eye colour look brighter and more colourful, my eyes are blue/green with some yellow in them, they are not a bright colour.

Male viewpoint:

I was told that my lips looked beautiful whilst wearing it, by a man who doesn't like the look of obvious makeup.

Overall: a good choice for women who want to wear coral but can't wear very bright shades without looking painted and like they're trying very hard, fake.

Miss coquelicot

As above, this is designated by Lancome as a night time shade and that advice is spot on for me. It is a beautiful, fresh, bright coral, formulation and wear as above for corail in love. However Miss coquelicot is too bright for me, unless I blot it several times and even then it sings however I could and will wear it at night when it won't be able to overpower my own pale colouring so much. Probably excellent on pale girls with dark hair to balance it, am fair naturally, skin and hair.

Everything about this lipstick is beautiful, from the color and the finish to the packaging to the iconic Lancome rose etched in the lipstick bullet. The silver packaging is very lux, and looks beautiful sitting on a vanity. The lipstick itself has a very minimal sent, no offensive taste, beautiful pigmentation, and a finish that is somewhere between matte and glossy. The lasting power is incredible too. I apply once in the morning and still lasts through lunch. It doesn't bleed, and it wears comfortably as well. I only have one shade, 383N but I plan on buying more. For $29, it is pricey but I think it's worth it for the quality and the fact that one lipstick will probably last you a long time.

Great lipstick that goes on smoothly and last for hours and hours (it says six hour wear, but if I'm careful while eating and drinking, it will last through my whole work day without needing to reapply). The color selection has a lot to offer, so there is something for everyone and every look. I have it in three colors (my favorite being #170, Sequence of Love...a really bright red with a slight orange tint). The only reason I did not give this five stars is because even though the color lasts all day, once he shine wears off a bit of the moisture goes with it. Reapplying fixes this, though.

This is such a nice, rose-scented lipstick that glides on creamy smooth and stays for a few hours. It's in between and matte and a shine, with nice soft coverage and decent color payoff.

This is my favorite lipstick, mostly because of the shade I have but also because the formula is amazing. I have the shade Berry in Love, which as the title says is a beautiful berry shade with red undertones. It is so beautiful I want to cry a little bit. It is moisturizing and shiny when you apply it and while the shine eventually fades, the color itself lasts all day on me and I don't need to retouch it. I am a very neat eater and drinker, though, so that may have something to do with it. But this formula doesn't emphasize flakes on the lips or lines either. It doesn't fade weirdly (no patches or drying). It's just a beautiful formula.

I love this lipstick. It is incredibly smooth and has a lovely light rose scent. The product seems to change the instant it hits the heat of your lips. The silver bullet packaging is very satisfying. It is an absolute luxury apply and a pleasure to wear. Depending on the method of application, this is a very long-wearing lipstick.

This lipstick is absolutely fabulous. I have had it for a week now and it just gives new life and dimension to my face. I cannot remember the name of the color i purchased but it is like a plum with a brown undertone and is like a much darker version of my natural lip color so it is a wonderful enhancement. It is highly pigmented. I think it would be wonderful if applied with a lip brush so as to get the desired quantity because i find that applying it like normal gives too much product because of how potent it is. Overall, very happy with my purchase.
