This is an ok powder. Great packaging so that it doesn't have the chance to spill all over when travelling. However, didn't think it was any greater than other powders, and certainly doesn't match La Prairie's powder, which has a subtle shimmer to give you that wonderful glow.

I absolutely love this powder - it's not as messy as most other loose powders, since you turn the dial to grate what you need. The powder itself is very finely milled, so it never looks chalky or obvious - instead, it makes my face look luminous. It's just gorgeous. Definitely an HG. The one thing I dislike: the packaging (except for the grating system!) - cheap, black plastic. This powder deserves some gorgeous housing! Come on, YSL!

I've tried loose powder as good as Becca or Laura Mercier, but this one has won them hands down!
This is a super fine powder with a soft matte finish without accentuating fine lines/dryness.
My makeup stays put and looks great for the whole day.
The grating part is a plus: you get to control how much you need and travelling with a loose powder is no longer a nightmare.

Super finelly milled. You use just what you need as you turn the dial on the powder to release just the amount of powder necessary. No messy spills. No waste. No sifters. Comes with its own puff though I apply it with a fluffy brush. Brilliant idea. Great translucent color. Wonderful wear. Finish is dreamy.Old fashioned YSL packaging. Like grandma's dusting powder. Wish it came in the same type of presentation Tom Ford has created for the pressed powder (yet another favorite) and Rouge Vibration lipsticks.$55 at Nordstrom continued >>
