It's the only cream that actually does something to soothe the redness on my skin. I tried a lot of them: Bioderma, La Roche-Posay, Clinique, you name it. This one works best. It doesn't really have a smell (which I really appreciate), it's quickly absorbed and works well for dry skin. It comes in a plastic tube, which may not be fancy, but it's perfect for travelling - since …Read more

My skin: combination/oily, prone to redness but no couperosa or rosacea

This product worked fine for me. I've been using it on it's own (not in combination with other products from the product line) for about a 1-1 1/2 months, and it seems to have calmed by redness a bit. The effect is not dramatic for me. As a moisturizer with SPF I feel it works fine. It does leave a bit of …

Let's start by specifying that I actually do have rosacea on my cheeks and my skin is combination (oily t-zone and normal cheeks). I was looking for something soothing and calming for my red cheeks because even though my rosacea is not severe, it's still intense sometimes (like when there's cold weather, when I'm exposed to changes in temperature, etc).

I bought …

This does nothing besides leave my face sticky, its not hydrating, does nothing to reduce redness. For 22 euro i'd expect some positive results.
It doesnt work.

Ill use it for the spf but wont repurchase.

Awful, Awful, Awful. DOES NOT WORK. Greasy, irritates my skin and not enough pigment to disguise my broken veins yet alone work for those with rosacea. A total waste of money. My own fault for listening to Lisa Eldridge. Absolute rubbish.

I see from the reviews that many are not satisfied with this product. I have sensitive rosacea-skin and have been searching for a light moisturizer that will sink in and not leave a film on top of my skin. I think this emulsion actually is pretty good for me, and I will probably buy it again. I'm especially comparing this to La Roche Posay's Rosaliac-series (even the lightest cream felt …Read more

I think this product would be good for someone who doesn't have intolerant skin, but there is actually fragrance in this which is bad for sensitive skin. I'm actually really surprised because this product was on a rosacea board and I was really excited to try it and it seemed light weight enough for my oily skin but this caused me to get a rash all over because of the fragrance in it …Read more

(combination/breakout prone/occasional slight redness)

i bought this because i really liked the other avene products i'd used, nice and simple for sensitive skin, and my skin was going through a phase of getting quite red around my nose and chin. this happens sometimes, so i thought this would be good to have for days like that. i guess i'm easily played by the fact that the …

The spf (ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate) broke me out with random spots. Shame really, as it feels so cool and soothing when l put it on. I'm finding that all Avène moisturisers are really hydrating, and getting rid of fine lines better than most. I did notice a slight lessening of redness after using for a few days. It worked fine under prime time and BM powders.

I generally love Avene products, so I was disappointed this hasn't worked out. If you have rosacea, I think this would only work if you have oily skin. For my dry skin, it just left an ashen cast without really covering any redness; in fact, the moisturizer would pill up, creating little green gunky dots around my nose and mouth. It does have an SPF 25, so points for that, but for the price …Read more
