I was very excited to try this when I read about it. I am constantly on the prowl for a perfect mineral sunscreen. So when I read about this, I went out and bought it right away. However, it has one MAJOR flaw which will prevent me from buying it again. Quite frankly, I think I will have to return this. Pros: - no white cast at all- mineral/physical sunscreen- fairly high (30) protection- relatively inexpensive ($15CAD) - portable packagingCons: - this stuff is like spreading thick oil on your face! I'm in my late 30s, and my skin is pretty dry. But this stuff was literally like using a thick oil. I let it soak in for about half an hour and it was still crazy. I then patted a powder over it, but my skin was so greasy that the brush stuck to my face. After about 40 minutes I blotted my skin with a blue Clean and Clear blotting sheet and the oil seeped through immediately and soaked two sheets. My husband described it as "%^$*ing disgusting". I think that says it all. Perhaps if you have the world's most parched, dry skin, this could work. But even then I'm not sure. It just doesn't absorb well. The search continues.

Re-edit.No matter how greasy this is, it still feels better on the skin than anything else I've tried. Have been trying it just with powder, no concealer. Taking it off with jojoba oil. Minimal to no acne response.Leaving numbers be for obvious reasons, but preferred, for now.****************************************edit: Taking 2 lippies off... I'm breaking out to the point that I have to go back to the derm. Leaving 3 because it's probable that my makeup contributed. Yes, I had minimal shine and a nice glow, between pounding this stuff into my skin and loading it up w Shisheido powder (and under that, CoverFX concealer, after the l'Oreal ran out). Overestimated the power of Tactuo to cope! Not willing to subject my face to further experiment to work out what did what.nb: my derm had previously approved the CoverFX, which has a lot of pigment in it, but hadn't seen the Kibio. ****I kind of can't believe I didn't have to work to find this at Shopper's Drug Mart (Canadian store). Got it on the recommendation of a clerk when something else was out.I use Epiduo/Tactuo 2-3 times a week, at night, which is why I was after a good sunblock. This is a non-chemical sunblock, made with 10.4% titanium dioxide, and a 3.8% zinc oxide. Made by Kibio (Clarins-owned), but not much info online... from what I could gather, it doesn't appear to use the scary nanoparticles. (Have emailed company; will update if I get a response. - edit: customer service rep's replied; according to her, no scary nanos.)Smells Clarins-y - has a light fragrance - 'Tamanu, Coconut, Vanilla' that goes away once on.Product is milky, with a light texture (edit: I mean, 'light' for a physical sunblock, which is heavier than chem, obv.). Has a peachy tint. There's a slight sheen when you first put it on, but under makeup (l'Oreal concealer & a Shisheido powder), the effect on my 30something, acne-prone skin is dewy. On me, it actually works as a nice kind of primer. Takes seconds to rub into skin. (Do bother to rub it in, though, for a neater effect.)So far, so great! I've been using it for a week and have had no breakouts, using Clean & Clear Makeup Dissolving Foaming Cleanser to wash it. It's been super sunny out as well, and I haven't tanned, either.edit: 2 small pimples since I bought this. Might be stress-related; might need to take better care taking it off. No tan, still :)I *hate* the look and feel of chemical sunscreens, which is why I've been loathe to use any regularly. I think it'll be easy to incorporate this into my regime long-term. edit: happy to say I still find this totally wearable.
