My friend is an R&F consultant so I bought Reverse set from her along with the lashboost as a kit. The kit cost around $250 with the lashboost included. The reason I tried Reverse (lighten) is that I have a couple dark spots that I wanted to address. One is on the side of my face near my eye from the driver's side window. I also have a couple little spots on my jawline. I'm 48 with fair olive skin. I haven't tanned in years and am not diligent with my sunscreen. My skin is a bit sensitive with roscea like tendencies. I normally use Aveno clear skin foam. Reverse (lighten) is a complete line with a scrub, toner, lightening lotion and sunscreen. The first thing I noticed is that this stuff made my pores much smaller, almost non-existent. It makes since because the cleanser is an abrasive scrub. I worked my way into the full regime of twice a day over about three weeks. my t-zone got horribly inflamed. I quit using it for around 3 days and let my skin clear up. then I started using it again. Two days in my skin broke out. I got cystic acne which I don't normally have. I stopped for about a week and slowly eased back in to only once at night (no sunscreeen - i like my shiseido sunscreen stick. My skin is okay with the once per day. I love the way my pores look and that my dark spot is noticably lighter. So the product works, especially considering how little I've used it. It's just too rough for my sensitive skin. I can't imagine most people using a scrub twice a day. I am going to try the soothe kit going forward and keep using the lightening lotion on my dark spots.
