It breaks out my skin like hell. Doesn't do anything good to my face, only creates super big acnes in my cheeks. Would never use this product again.

I didn't like the texture of this serum, I prefer something more runny which spread out easily. The smell is ok, no breakout .. need to spend more time to see a result

Being a skincare fiend, I didn't waste the opportunity to check out the bestsellers from Japanese skincare heavyweights Kanebo, Shiseido, Kose, Sofina, et al. during the two years of my adult life that I spent in Asia. At first it was tremendously satisfying just being able to drop in and sample things at will, but in all honesty I don't find Japanese skincare to be superior. I do like a lot of their stuff, but are they supplying any magical ingredient that Western brands missed out on? Not necessarily. What they are though, is generally more expensive. This whitening serum from Blanchir retails for over $110, and feels as special as... Putting milk on your skin. Milky is how it feels and smells. In terms of effect, I don't know the scientific meaning of "whitening", but I guess it should at least brighten and fade spots. Well, this certainly didn't do that for me, and I have used products that delivered as claimed (i.e. Laura Mercier's tone perfecting cream) to form a basis for comparison. For now I'm skeptical of the entire Blanchir line.
