My review is for Black Up "Matifying Fluid Foundation," $41.50 in a pump bottle. I hope I'm in the right place.

I'm so impressed and shocked. But first, my description: this is a sheer-medium coverage foundation intended for oily skin. It dries matte. Alcohol denat is high on the ingredient list, it can be problematic for oily skin but it's definitely not meant for dry skin.

- It goes on like a thin gel and dries down quickly, so work in small sections
- Best tool for blending is a duo-fiber stippling brush or fingertips
- Doesn't need to be set with powder, doesn't settle into fine lines or crease

Here are the cons:
- It's so thin that it doesn't blur texture at all, it just conceals discoloration. The alcohol means it absorbs into the skin, doesn't sit on top like a creamier silicone foundation would.
- The dense brushes that I love for foundation application just soak up the product and ruin the coverage. Picking the right tool for the coverage you want can be tricky.

The verdict is that this is the most no-makeup and effortless I've ever looked in a medium coverage foundation. It'll work perfectly at outdoor summer events when I want to appear bare.
