Exude lip creme has a fancy useless applicator. I wouldn't buy this product again because this applicator is horrible. Someone designed it but completely unrelated to its function. The plastic top of the applicator with the hole for the product to come through, it's still plastic! It feels weird to be applying your lip creme with the surface of this plastic thing with the hole. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

There was a Lucky Mag promo for 50% off one of these on exudelipstick.com site. Usually, they retail for $29. Unfortunately the 50% was just for the lipstick and not shipping as well (not that I was expecting it) shipping was expensive - $8.95 so total I paid a little over $23 for my lipstick.
The shipping was fast. I think I ordered on a Tuesday and I got it by Friday. This is a luxury lipstick experience if there is such a thing. The box the lipstick comes in was shrink wrap and a sturdy white cardboard. It felt quality. The lipstick tube itself is metal and the bullet itself is plastic with a hole that the product comes through. You twist the bullet to get the product but it doesn't take as many twists as a click pen lipgloss.
The cranberry color is a light shimmery red. I could see this as a "special occasion red" for people who have a hard time reds. For me, it's a more every day sort of red. The mint taste is slight and fades quickly. I see this as a nice hybrid between a gloss and a lipstick. It's pigmented but you do have to work the color a little bit to get even coverage on your lips. It doesn't dry out or tear up my lips the way MAC glosses do.
I would purchase more if I could afford it. This was a special indulgence for me but if I won the lottery tomorrow, oh yeah. . I'd order more! Or to misquote Ferris Bueller "If you have the means, I highly recommend you buy one"
