I got an amazing deal on this product, otherwise I don't know if I'd have bought it. $300 is a ridiculous price for this, and I really can't justify paying THAT much just for a perfume.

However, Creed perfumes are made with all-natural ingredients, which explains why they smell more "special" than most high-end perfumes (which, frankly, nearly all smell …

OK, this is not really an oud fragrance per say. It's rather masculine too. It really reminds me of men's cologne. Has a bit of the the original Burberry for women in the drydown. I find it rather unpleasant for either man or woman. But I see I am in the minority, so I guess I will keep testing this to see the light.

This is a great summerweight version of oud -- in fact, I wouldn't necessarily pick out the oud if it wasn't in the title. It's a dark but sheer fragrance with citrus, smoky woods, and cardamom. There's a touch of sweetness in the base from a creamy sandalwood note, and I can see how the previous reviewer smells coconut. It's surprisingly light and easy to wear, given the …Read more

Royal Oud is a soft creamy whisper of oud, with a good balance of Sicilian lemon and bergamot on top that last well, and a hint of cedar in the base. There appears to be a light coconut note also included that could make Royal Oud ideal for resort wear, evening wear, or spring-summer in general. Definitely unisex.

Wow I'm stupid. Wandering around Saks, killing time, stopped at Creed counter, smelled Royal Oud. I thought "I'll open a Saks card and buy this!"

I didn't know it was TWO HUNDRED AND SEVENTY DOLLARS.

I smell like an idiot. A great smelling idiot, but an idiot nonetheless.

It smells wonderful, but not at this price. Won't …

AD COPY: Wood, leather marble and gold, elements of a royal Persian palace, inspire Olivier CREED, sixth-generation master perfumer of France, an architect of fragrance, to create new Royal-Oud for men and women. Rare, hypnotic, sumptuous oud, an ingredient coaxed from Agarwood trees of India —and more costly per ounce than palladium —lends its power to this blend. CREED Royal-Oud gives the …Read more

Oh, what a disappointment! Being a fan of oud fragrances, as well as of several Creed perfumes and their excellent quality, I was impatiently waiting for this release. I was expecting it to be some sort of crown jewel among all the oud fragrances available on the market these days, smelling closely to the oud oil in its purest form. Well, sadly, it is not what I got from it. I must state here …Read more
