Many thanks to Babs (whose recent review brought this to the top of the page) and the previous reviewers as well because as much as I use a lot of LW products, I was totally unaware of this mineral powder and blotting papers. I picked it up the other day in the shade Neutre. All the colours (there are 5, I think) looked REALLY dark in the store (apparently, they oxidize in the bright lights of the store because they're in a display without any lids or protection. But the SA tried 2 shades on me (Neutre and Beige Beige, I think) and we both agreed that Neutre was the better colour match although, truth to tell, this seems to be a pretty forgiving product and Beige Beige, which looked a bit yellow, would probably have been fine). I've only had this a few days and use it over my moisturizer as a sheer powder "foundation" (much like MAC MSF Natural) to look more polished than just a bare face looks on me. This product also comes with oil blotting sheets that store in a "well" underneath the powder (packaging it slightly different than what is show in the photo above) and this will be a real plus in summer. LW does sell refill packets of the blotting papers.

This is the powder I'm currently using, and honestly it's just the best powder I've ever used. I swear, it doesn't even look like powder on the skin. I just use it over concealer, it doesn't add much coverage, bit blurs imperfections and sets my concealer...normally with other powders I need to use a setting spray to make it look decent and less dry...but this is perfection on its own. Comes with blotting sheets which I havent used yet, but it's a nice touch. Normally I disagree with spending more money on products when you can getter equal or better results from cheaper products if you know where to look..but this really impressed me

My new HG product, hand's down!!!! This is by far the most amazing pressed powder I have ever used. I have spent years finding the most perfect powder, and finally my search has ended. This Lise Watier powder is perfect in so many ways. The colour Beige Beige is a perfect match, truly flawless. The packaging is sleek and compact. The great thing about this powder is that it also comes with oil blotting sheets so you have a choice in the shine battle. The formula is very smooth, doesn't cake or settle and is paraben free. Also sets my foundation beautifully and makes my skin perfect, seriously. I get comments on my skin all the time now when I wear it with or without foundation. All powders have given me at least a few breakouts and I'm happy to report nothing yet!!! I've been using for 2 1/2 weeks already. This is my first encounter with Lise Watier products and definetly not my last. I'm going to try the foundations and eye products too. I love that it's a Canadian brand too!!! Designed and made in Canada!! My new fave powder and brand!!!

This product is completely, absolutely HG. I use this on it's own as my foundation and it makes my skin totally flawless. It's so easy to apply (I just use the Ecotools retractable kabuki) and it evens out my complexion so naturally.. not cakey at all, doesn't settle into fine lines, and the color Neutre (72001) matches my skin perfectly (I'm about NC20). It hasn't broken me out. It's a little more expensive than some powders, but well worth it. I comes with oil-blotting sheets which I don't use, but I was able to easily remove them from the compact. Otherwise the packaging is nice and I love that a mirror is included.I really can't say enough good things about this product, I hope they continue making it forever!!

Fingers crossed this is my HG. Trying it as my foundation, using Neutre. Update: the coverage doesn't last through the day and it makes my (oily, sensitive) skin itch. :(

I also really love this powder. I normally shied away from powders because they tend to highlight every crease and line (even ones I didn't know I had). For my base, I was wearing Cover FX cream foundation and was finding that it was too heavy for me (which is a good thing as my skin is clearing up woo hoo!). However, my mom came home one day and said she had bought me this in Natural and told me to give it a shot as she really liked it for herself (she wears a different colour). What do you know, it's now the only makeup base I wear! First of all, the colour is perfect for my skin as it's not too yellow and not too pink. It brightens up my complexion, gives a good amount of coverage (I pat extra on the spots I need it), and makes my skin feel so soft. It doesn't break me out, and has great staying power. I put the Miracle Base primer on first and these two products give a really nice overall finish. Lise Watier was never really a brand I paid much attention to, but they now have three products that are my staples (this, the Miracle Base, and the Micellaire Water), which is great bc I can get them so close by to me.
