I am deeply in love with this scent. It is dark, spicy, mysterious and rich. It lasts forever! Inexpensive in Italy, but pricy in the states. It is a must have for any spice lover (Opium, Obsession, Tabu, Oleg Cassini, Rumba).

This reminds me of the sharp opium/poppy notes that some companies use. It's like a sharp, chemical-y, white, smoky smell to me... and here it smells like the opium fell into a box of dry laundry soap powder. Sharp *and* soapy in a way that really bothers me.

Tulipano Nero is deep, spicy, a little powdery and smoky. There's something about it that reminds me of Feminite du Bois, Dolce Vita, Yosh Omniscent and maybe even FM Vetiver Extraordinaire.
